I'll probably update all of these so that all of the incantations are included. I probably had skills and equipment to make casting as fast as possible.
Technical Genis for lifeeee! I've always loved his spells since I played this game all way back in 2005. Thanks for this, I remembered so many good times.
Personally, I think using Genis's strike type spells is better. Tidal Wave is actually quite weak for a spell of it's level, and is only really good because it hits all enemies; Explosion and Indignation are the only high level technical spells that are really worth using. If you go the strike type route, he gets spells of every element (aside from the exceedingly rare dark element), including his only light and ice spells that are high levels in Absolute and Prism Sword. I would even argue that Thunder Arrow is better than Indignation due to the latter's delay between the casting and the actual attack
@@LeonardoGarcia-vi5ke To keep the topic of Genis in line here: say you want both Flame Lance and Explosion. You'd have used Eruption a minimum of 50 times (required for Explosion) and Genis is in their T-type (for Explosion). Put Eruption on C-stick Up or Down on a character, Remove the character that has Eruption out of the party (5th position and/or lower), make Genis forget Eruption, move Genis to S-Type, learn Flame Lance, move Genis back to T-type, move the one who had Eruption on the first position, get into battle, have everyone on "Hold", spam C-Stick Eruption, learn Explosion, Massive Profits! And the beauty of this glitch: YOU COULD DO THIS WITH EVERYONE WHO HAS 3 tiers of skills/spells! 🔥 Absolutely broken to have fully decked out characters! (Sadly, no Ray and Holy Lance for Raine though.)
I just love it when Genis and Raine do prism stars as a unison attack. Prison stars is an immediate 30 hit combo that does light damage. All you need to do is have Genis use Tidal Wave or Cyclone and have raine use Ray. 100 hit combos are SOOOO much easier. Genis Technical abilities are great for combos, but his Strike abilities have SOOOOO much swag
I just set up Genis in a way where he has Indignation, Explosion, Prism Sword, and Absolute. Too bad that means I can have him with Gravity Well, Tidal Wave, Ice Tornado, or Cyclone.
Even though it's not the same character, I would also argue that Lloyd is torn between T and S branch artes. *For Demon Fang, the S type is stronger, and you also unlock his best elemental arte, Grave Blade by doing so. But you also get a really good projectile arte in Demonic Chaos by going T, so there's incentive to tech glitch here. *For Sonic Thrust, you definitely want Hurricane Thrust more for combos, I don't like Super Sonic Thrust *For Sword Rain, you again want to really go the T route for Sword Rain Beta *For Tiger Blade, you get the better level 2 arte in Tiger Rage with the T branch, but you miss out on Twin Tiger Blade by doing so, making the tech glitch good here as well. For Beast, the S type Hunting Beast is simply better than Raging Beast *Lastly, for Tempest, the T type Omega Tempest is overall better than Psi Tempest So no, Genis is not the only character you will be torn choosing between just S or T type artes for
I can’t decide whether to go T type or S type. T type seems like it’s good for Indignation and Explosion but S type looks better for like everything else -also Genis needs to chant quicker XD-
Genis learns NO light spells on the T route but most of his advanced spells(Tidal Wave, Ground Dasher, Explosion, Cyclone and Indignation) can be used in conjunction with Raine's Ray spell to create Prism Stars; meanwhile his S route cannot learn spells that create Prism Stars but has Genis' only stand-alone light spell, Prism Swords, you also get Thunder Arrow, Atlas and the ice elemental's strongest spell Absolute too!! It's all a matter of what you want Genis to use and your own personal preference!!!
@@luancunha2297 It's literally been over a decade so I don't remember. I'm sure there's a UA-cam video explaining it, I think I read it on GameFaqs back in the day.
@@luancunha2297 When you have for example learned Thunder Blade you could place it on a shortcut for the character you play as. I have settled for a combination of T and S side spells. Genis already learns Dreaded Wave, so while it is fun to re-enact the Day of Lavos, Ground Dasher isn't necessary. Instead I have Grave and Freeze Lancer for S and everything else on T to get an advanced spell of every element, including Absolute and still keeping Indignation for the mystic arte. You sadly lose out on Gravity Well, but you can't have that and a high level ice spell. You still get Raging Mist, which has to be the worst spell as is does not stagger the enemy. It also means that you have all the same mid level spells that Zelos/Kratos learns.

It's cute that his casting animation is just him playing with his kendama.
The one character you’re actually torn on for T or S skills
