DJI Mini 2: geni.us/LgEEsv
I bought the DJI Air 3 on the release date. Until now, I've been using my trusty little DJI Mini 2. It's gotten the job done, especially for fun projects, but now that I'm getting paid drone work, it's time for an upgrade.

Will you be picking up the Air 3??
I’m deciding between the air 3 and mavic 3 pro 🤔 what’s your thoughts?
For me the extra features and quality from the larger sensor would be nice, but aren’t really worth the price difference for me. But if the 3 lenses and bigger sensor are worth the extra money for you then go for it. But you can absolutely get professional looking results out of the Air series drones
I'm thinking about saving for it...
@@jasperdcullen I was in the same boat decided to go with a full package on the air 3 for $1900 rather than go for a mavic 3 pro considering this is my first drone i feel like it was a smart choice

Hi, great 1st impressions video. Thanks for sharing. I recently bought the Mini3 Pro and happy with the purchase. One tip for when you come to buy ND filters for the Air3. The ND64 isn`t strong enough to achieve the 180 degree shutter rule when filming on bright sunny days when using the 24mm /1.7 Aperture lens. The Air3 and Mini3 Pro both share this same sensor size albeit with more sophisticated technology with the Air3. You will need to bump up your shutter speed to achieve the correct exposure. I generally film at 30fps in D cinelike. I`ve just ordered the ND128 for my Mini3 Pro for this reason. Just something to bear in mind.
Nice video but it's a no for me on the air 3 I have a pro controller. The air 3 is not compatible with it that mean. I will have to buy a third controller.😢
Any particular reason why you didnt go with the mini 3 pro? Im debating between those 2. My fear with the mini 3p is wind. Even when people say it's good, its a light drone so... not sure.
They have really similar image quality, and I believe even the same sensor on the main camera. For me it was the stability and speed of a bigger drone, and the 2 cameras interested me more than the vertical filming mode. I’m specifically using it on client projects as well, so part of it is optics. Showing up with a
@DelaneyMedia thank you for your reply. It makes sense. I ended up getting the air 3.
I tried the mini 3 pro yesterday. And it's a great drone, but even with light winds, I was getting the wind warning message. August it's not even a windy month in 🇨🇦, so I would rather not risk it. Time will tell if I made the right choice.
As a pro, the features on the Air3 make it hard to justify the Mavic 3 Pro. I'm looking forward to comparisons between the two.... stills, footage, adjustable iris/aperture vs fixed.
Need 7x zoom for the zombie attacks though.
I need to find a reason to buy a drone again
They are awesome

$2200?

For the fly more combo it is $2200. That’s Canadian dollars. I also mentioned that
