Very informative and helpful
This is great! I’m over people telling me that I’d be good at copywriting, then make an alcoholic drink and not do anything about it. Currently working on my speck work. Thank for providing some specifics because I can be all over the place.
Getting started is the hardest part, but just start small and you'll pick things up quickly!
Thank you for sharing this! Great info and can’t wait to hear more from your channel 👏
More to come for sure! :)
Helpfull ans interesting lesson thanks you 😊
Agreed that thick skin and flexibility are a must in this industry. I think that would have scared a 20 year old version of me off, but anyone can get over the rejection piece and not take it personally.
Definitely! It can sound scary, but I would hate for someone to not be prepared for that part of the job.
I really wanted to work in creative department. Currently I am working as graphic designer in an ad agency. But don't know where to start or what things to learn and focus?
good one
Thank you!
hello! as someone coming from the public accounting industry (no prior marketing/ ad experience), how do i get my foot in the door at an ad agency? i am very interested in copywriting and feel i have the right personality for it- now just trying to figure out how to make it happen! thanks!
Hi there! I would definitely start by making a portfolio. I have some stuff about this on this channel and my TikTok that you might find helpful about portfolios. You'll want to start practicing your writing skills and create spec work to put in your portfolio. Then, I'd look into internships or entry-level writing jobs at agencies/companies that interest you!
