The universe has decided to make the editing of this review a living nightmare. But I'm a brave cosmerenaut, who's dedicated to do her part of shitposting. And shitpost I do.
Hence why I kept fighting against the dozens and dozens of technical difficulties that kept erasing my progress to bring to you THIS. VIDEO.

Kaladin stole the show at the end. He got up with a broken leg and broken ribs and stood in front of two shardbearers to protect the king. Then he saved Dalinar's life and fought Szeth by flying everywhere. What a badass.
Also fuck Moash for punching Kaladin in the gut and saying "wAit i diDn'T eXpEct iT to bE tHaT hArd" what did you expect you were wearing shardplate
Kaladin is a freaking hero.
And Moash can go to hell. I knew I couldn't trust him and now his name alone makes me wanna scream 😤

Hoid/wit is my absolutely favourite cosmere character. I was so happy when i discovered tress of the emerald sea and that it was a Hoid book.

but in this scene with Hoid and young Shallan, Hoid uses emotional allomancy on her.
He slips something from a glass vial into his drink and shallan is very open when talking to him from then on

I just finished the book a day ago and I have NO IDEA what you’re talking about which chapter is that?
@BuilderB08 there's a shallan flashback chapter where she's trying to help out her brothers at some festival
when she goes back to her dad, there is a strange man talking to her father (this is Hoid/Wit). Wit slips something into his own drink out of little glass vial (powdered allomantic metals)
Later, Wit uses emotional allomancy on shallan to get her to trust him enough to see if she had radiant abilities.
Shallan describes an ideal beautiful scene with her family, and lightweaves without realizing.
I cannot properly express my boundless admiration for these reviews.

Yeah, we're totally *joking* about the multiple personalities. Just wait until you finish the series and get all the *jokes.* The last time I re-read Words of Radiance I had to run away from my phone (I listen on Audible) and cover my ears and scream at the end of the duel. The pain is just too real.
I'm starting to wonder if there is *anyone* who can still read/listen to the 'and for my boon' scene after the first time.
This comment pushes me to finally finish oathbringer and keep going. Maybe I'll manage, for all the new suffering your words promise. This makes me feel like I'm going to become slightly masochistic quite soon... Nah, too scared so mistborn it is. Kelsior death in the end of the first book is too obvious to hit me hard at this point, so...

@@MeMySkirtandI stormlight books are longer and, maybe it's just me but things are getting sadder and more intense with each book in longer and longer chunks taking lesser and lesser breaks in-between, making me question if there ever possibly can be an end to this pull of despere I swimming in... I recently started a mistborn series, I heard some time before about idea being hero loosing in his great did, I was thinking it's more about lord-ruler and his, what is it, like an "abbys" or whatever, while somewhere in my head also thought Kalsior might be another hero going to the same unhappy end, and when I accidentally saw something on yt like him delivering a message from a friend named hope all so blurry and ghosty in background of some mistborn-inspired music thing it wasn't unexpected or groundbreaking for me, like "oh, that thought in the back of my head was actually right, ok than", and obviously as I just started I haven't got to any finer details of the plot that may build up a stressful tension later, so for now it's mostly ok-ish compared to first two stormlight books and especially start of that third one.
not a very emotional person but there are two moments in this book that makes my eyes go teary and skin get goosebumps, when shallan smiles to kaladin and when kaladin swears his next ideal: "kaladin, stetch forth thy hand, and light exploded from him!
Love how charmingly you manage to summarize these books!
I read Words of Radiance in 3 days! THREE DAYS!!!! I could not put it down!! Masterpiece!!

Okay, just had this video linked in a Sanderson chat and..... it is amazing! Loved the whole thing. So eager for the rest of... everything! And that isn't just me still riding the hype from having finished binging all of the Cosmere a few weeks ago....
I am still baffled how people thought Jasnah might actually be dead, she had too many major plot hooks left danging, and mysterious disappearing body is like, writing 101 for "They ain't really dead."

Elhokar.... damnit Sanderson, I LIKED just seeing him as a whiny, entitled man-baby! Why did you go and give him depth, and self doubt, and show us him actually trying and wanting to be better, but not knowing how to fix himself!?
Moash- Yeah, him being a bastard no one should trust was pretty obvious, even not knowing about the Storm Moash sentiment in the fanbase at the time.
Lift, poor sweet Lift, always get so much flack for being too awesome for others to handle..... Yeah she can be a bit annoying here, but I still love it and her. A large part is, between the kind of over the top degree of immaturity and childishness, and her insistence on totally being only ten, despite being ten for three years, it's pretty clear she is intentionally trying to play up her childish immaturity out of some type of Peter Pan syndrome rather then being it just being who she is.
Shallan This is her at her best here, so loved the whole thing of her helping others to see the best version of themselves they could be!
Adolin is just the bestest of Good Boi himbo's and I have a total man crush on him! And yes, him and Kaladin's snarky insult buddy dynamic is amazing! While I liked him a lot here... by the end of the next book Adolin shoots up to my third favorite character in the entire Cosmere, behind only Sazed and Pupper Kandra!
I am all for concussion therapy on Kaladin.... anything it takes to get him out of stewing in his own guilt and regret!

You know, I knew Vasher and Vivenna had to be around somewhere, but I never put the swordmaster as being Vasher but now you've pointed it out I cannot stop thinking about it.
I always assumed the voices he heard were alluding to him *almost* becoming a Radiant, but somehow failing / accidentally killing the spren.

This book is probably the best book i have ever read in my life. There were like three or four scenes which made me actually physically scream
And in this book i loved the shallan chapters, (i hated them in way of kings because they broke the pacing in that) bluths death made me cry even though I know what he did in the previous book, and i gasped because I began liking Gaz

Im a hardcore Moash defender he did nothing wrong. He is just Kaladin but with more guts and an admission if his own faults. When kal says that what Moash is doing is wrong that is the betrayal not Moash trying to kill the king. Kaladin even said himself that killing the king made sense and would be better for the whole kingdom not just Moash. The only reason he disagreed with Moash is because Syl has an iron grip on his balls.

As someone who got introduced to the cosmere via the Stormlight Archive, I don't love the Kelsier spolier
Sorry about that, but there is a spoiler warning in the beginning of the video. I tagged it as minor because although it might seem like a big thing, that really isn't the end of Mistborn - the scale of things in the series is much bigger than that and I encourage you to read it still.
Now, I am aware that there's always disagreements among readers about what counts as a (big) spoiler or not, but I can't really control that

Elokhar is really nice guy, but he is a king and have big rensponsybility... and his father has been murder by Szeth... so paranoid also.
He ( like shallan) can see sometking in shadow or reflection becouse Cryptic watching him all time, so you know who he can be in future( or not).
And this guy who try kill Lift and help Szeth is Herold of justce so... yeas he is wery Important( and Jasnah saw him in the day when her father was kiled... ~suspises~
