- Cut your pachira aquatica above a nod of leave, keep two leaves on top, remove all other leaves below.
Water method: simply place them in a vase with water, add a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, change water once a week
Soil Method: remove outer skin between two nods at bottom, dip the stem in rooting hormone, shake of access powder, play them in soil, water every 2-3 days as required, do not over water.
Those little white dots are where the roots start coming out from i know couse i did it with one leaf and thats how it started growing there roots
Had moved them on top of my refrigerator. Each stick had 2-3 new branches come out within 2-3 weeks. Now I transferred them in soil. So far healthy green leaves.
chawndro I planted one on the cutting in a glass bottle with rocks at the bottom. So far so good. It’s interesting because u can see the roots as they grow
@@Cocoakissedme i will try to do the same. Thanks

My money plant just broke a stem THANK YOU FOR THIS 🤗🤗🤗
Hi Angela. You're welcome 😊. My main money plants PA grow as tall as touching the ceiling. So I cut them back every 15-18 months. At the same time, I get share cuttings with others
Those white things on the stem startled me when I propagated mines. I wonder what it’s
Thanks nice
Awesome video
Thanks 😊
Why you put it upside down in the water?
Hare Krishna. Wow so beautiful planting. Good job. Connect stay ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
Thank you 😊
Hello chilipeppercourd thank for your vedio, but my money tree I cut and I plant in soil but it came dried here is winter, watching from Iran
Hi Lilia 😊 Thanks for your comment. Have you tried multiple 3-4 cuttings in soil? Also try some in water like I showed. I found chances of growing roots in water is higher and faster than in soil. Once roots/spots are there, you can transplant in soil. Once in soil, allow water to dry out in between watering. Hope it helps.
Says they live in a Swamp but not to over water ?
Hi what is bottle name ? Thank you
Those are where the roots may cones out
Do the stems need to have leaves? I had stems with no leaves that I put in soil. Waiting to see what happens. Some stems look rotted. But will wait awhile to see what happens.
Hi Marie, recommended to have minimum two leaves, to promote energy conversion in growing roots
@@CHILIPEPPERGOURD thank you
Hi chawndro, i'm hoping that u can help me, i have my money tree and her leaves started to fall out, n I've seen some flying bug around it. N also I'm wondering if I have mine in a too big pot bc ur pot for ur big money tree looks small. I hope that u can help me out. Thanks in advance.
Hi Melanie. It is normal for leaves to fall during autumn winter transition period. Please ensure plant is not sitting in water. Reduce watering once a week. Check temperature doesn't drop below 14°C. You can give it a booster by giving epsom salt water (be cautious water salt ratio), placing by the window with light. For bugs, spray the leaves with peppermint oil n soap mix. Once peppermint spray mix dries out, lightly sprinkle some type neem powder or diatomaceous earth. You can also make spray with water peppermint oil neem oil n very little soap. Be sure to spray under the leaves. Hope it helps.
Yes that will definitely help, thank u so much. I will try all that. I planted her today in new soil n lightly water it, so far after that i havnt seen any more bugs.
How often do you water the soil while in propagation period?
Hi. It depends on the location (temperature, dryness, humidity). I live in zone 4, 8 months of winter. During the summer months, if keeping them indoor, water twice a week; if outdoor in sun water once a day. During winter months, indoor, maximum once a week. Important, if the plant is in soil, let the soil dry before you water again. This avoids root/stem rot, fungus, and harmful bacterial growth in any plant. Hope this helps.
COMES OUT 🤔
the stem cutting of the pachira could be develop even without leaves?
I grew roots of many cuttings, such pachira, lime, basil others. I haven't had success without leaves. They needed 1-2 leaves.
Funny just replied that I am trying without leaves. Waiting.
Stop cutting the mango plant,to enjoy the fruits plant in direct soil n just water once a wk.it takes care of itself. It's a huge tree anyway
Umm not sure what you talking about. Mango plant is grown from seed directly in soil. Pachira aquatica is a different type of plant
This money tree looks bad
These are being grown from CUTTING, not yet developed to a full grown plant. However, you negative feedback is most welcome. Cheers!
@@CHILIPEPPERGOURD cut from a money tree that had no leaves on it can I root them in water or soil
@@mariegracedesalvo143 Hi. Better with 1 or 2 leaves, increases the success of rooting. Water or soil both works. if in soil, light coat with rooting hormone helps
