Really good tip here for the SAT essay: Don't. There is no point in taking it. If you don't do it, it won't count against you and if you get a bad score they will most likely ignore it. Even if you get a good score on it, it will never be the difference between admission and rejection. Simply put, it's 50 minutes of stressful time wasted on one of the most narrow and shallow forms of analysis you can possibly make, as you are punished for thinking critically about the topics directly.
This actually helps me a lot because right now I am doing a practice for the SAT and I want to impress my English teacher with the skills I have thanks!!!
