Burger Queen lyrics:
Slightly bemused by his lack of direction
Hey you, hey you
Came to this world by caesarean section
Hey you, hey you
Chooses his clothes to match his pallid complexion
Hey you, hey you
Now it takes him all day just to get an erection
Hey you
Things aren't what they seem
Makes no sense at all
Things aren't what they seem
Makes no sense at all
Goes out to cruise and to meet his connection
Hey you, hey you
He never scores he just gets an infection
Hey you, hey you
Dreams of a place with a better selection
Hey you, hey you
Still it takes him all day just to get an erection
Hey you
Things aren't what they seem
Makes no sense at all
Things aren't what they seem
Makes no sense at all
Things aren't what they seem
Makes no sense at all
Things aren't what they seem
Luxemburger queen
He's a burger queen
Slightly bemused by the total rejection
Hey you, hey you
Came to this world by caesarean section
Hey you, hey you
Dreams of a place with a better selection
Hey you, hey you
Dreams of a face that is pure perfection
Hey you
Things aren't what they seem
Luxemburger queen
Luxemburger queen
Luxemburger queen
He's a burger queen
Molko is so good at writing lyrics that are poignant and beautiful, but at the same time vague. Like, you're never sure
One of those rare songs that allows you to wallow in your own misery in way that feels healing and positive
This song can easy define one of the best moments of my life, with me and my loneliness.
the best song of Placebo. The most underrated
🎵Im at burger king with my burger queen can i get a large fry. She's vegan please, so dont put no cheese with some honey mustard on the side🎵
One of the most beautiful songs ever. Sad, romantic, nostalgic. Hits right in the feels everytime.
The calming soundtrack of the worst period of my life in the hospital.
I'm at burger king with my burger queeeen
2024 ! Still relevant in my life
god i miss the 90's
The “Hey you” lines are so hypnotic and I find myself humming the tune constantly.
Whatever pain you're going through, music like this is always around to help you through it
This song is perfection.
ive always loved the vibes this band gives off. pure beauty.
Not sure why, but the way Brian sings "Hey You" breaks my💔💔💔Probably because things aren't what they seem🙏
Placebo have many great songs, but this is still my favorite...
i've been throughso much fuckign music the past couple of years
Oooofff, this song, I would play this on repeat throughout the whole day at college, about 22yrs ago; this song was the only thing that helped me get through the day, the only voice I belived wouldn't hate me if said I wasn't straight.
i remember this from when i was living in drug dens in the middle 90s. the music was matching my surroundings and even deepened the scarlet life i was living.
i grew up listening to my older sister play this song. it's like a melody for my life. <3
