Sabertooth has extensive experience with psychics. Its been a while, but if I remember correctly, the X-men telepaths used to keep him trapped in a disney-like illusion. Until he regenerated his brain, turned the illusion into a horror, broke free from their prison, and convinced/kidnapped the teenaged mutant boomer to become his - uh - 'sidekick'. It was messed up. Before that he trapped a mutant psychic in a toxic relationship with him that she couldn't leave. She originally wanted to psychically sedate him so he wouldn''t always go into a murderous rage and randomly kill innocents. Unfortunately he found that ability useful for his missions: it keep himself from going too kill-happy too soon, allowing him to enact more complex and devious plans. So he kidnapped/stockholmed her into a toxic relationship with him where she had to follow him around and help him focus his mind, because he told her if she ever left him, he would go back to randomly killing innocents and it would be all her fault. So yeah, Sabertooth has had a lot of experience with psychics. And he crushes them.
I think her name was birdie
@@donvandenberg5301 You are correct.
@@donvandenberg5301 xmen vs street fighter LOL that was cool
BIG FACTS THATZ AFTER HE ALMOST KILLED BESTY BRADDOCK IN THE NINJA BODY
Sabertooth really is an Apex Predator, he's a vicious vile monster but you've got to respect his ruthless and cunning, also i think most versions of the Hulk wreck this group.
yea I have to agree, hulk rips logan in half... again and then its just hulk vs colossus. wtf is domino gonna do? shoot the hulk?
@@darylvanhorne5738Exactly, We already saw WWHulk dismantle Logan and Colossus, Domino would be lucky to walk away with broken leg.
Yeah, Creed shouldn’t be able to take on The Hulk.
After reading the comments a bit, the takeaway from all this is that Hulk is the strongest there is!
@@ConnorMarc I think the reasonable answer is simple: Passive, base form Hulk could be knocked out if he's ambushed and hit hard enough to be knocked out.
But if you take a swing at the king, you'd better not miss. Hulk is the strongest there is, but he is not immune from incapacitation
The worst thing to happen to the X-Men comics was this secondary mutation BS because now it gives hack writers the excuse to come up with any dumb reason to enhance a mutant to further a story. The was a reason there were so few Omega level mutants, now anyone could be elevated because a writer can't be clever enough to write a good story.
Thats why theres retcons. They can always change their minds and go back
@@dorrellk7471while true, that’s just bad and lazy lmao, we shouldn’t be relying on a retcon to fix something. But comics innit
Still not as bad as the living island cloning BS. It was a bad enough troupe that characters in comics never die, but at least they didn't instantly bring them back. Every tale written these days feel as lasting as an issue of What if? As entertaining as it might be it's forgotten and swept under the rug next arc.
@@jasonking4146 i forgot about the resurrection thing, it made every mission less meaningful knowing they could just bring them back. At least they should have added a wrinkle to the resurrection not being 100% perfect, like having to wait for the power to manifest putting the character out of commission for months, maybe even years, sidelining this character for a while and allowing others to step up. Also finally giving some mutant the opportunity to be "normal" again. Imagine Rogue basically having a deathwish every time she goes on a mission just so she can die and come back as "normal" and being able to touch someone.
this reminds me of Wolverine's heat claws. remember when that was a thing? then Marvel just went on and pretended it never happend.😆
Plot twist, he's still in the pit imaging his revenge 😢
I wouldn’t even be surprised if that’s how the comic run ended
I mean, how is he even killing other mutants that easily. Tons of plot armour + it doesn't make sense that he's so overpowered
It's actually laughable how overpowered they're making him be.
Thanks for all the stories helps me keep caught up when I can't and gives me something to listen to while at work
Anytime I see a character say “AAAIIIIEEEEEE” I mentally play a Wilhelm scream when I read it.
This is the way.
My guy Victor once again, does not fail to amaze. I love this guy. Just an unrelenting force of destruction.
The Hulkamaniacs are gonna be mad at you Rob...😂
Oh I'm mad AF, them 3 mutants not beatin shit lol
@@devinkeaer5430 Beat does not equal kill. I think he could be incapacitated if it's instantly done. Hulk needs to be ambushed though
Doesn’t The Hulk have a healing factor?
@@matthewschwartz6607 Yes, but he can be knocked out if he's jumped in base form.
Hulk is not all powerful if he's just peacefully roaming. However if it's a face off, Hulk wins because he'll just get angrier and stronger.
In short, they gotta jump Hulk to incapacitate him. He cannot be killed.
The writers can do what they want. "Oh it's time for a Domino powerup showcase?" Let her take on and 'beat' Hulk. She could have Hulk tripping every single time he swings for a punch in a fight. Powering him up with anger but never able to hit her. Then her power could somehow send Hulk at some random OP enemy that's effing up some chit somewhere in the cosmos to let him take his anger out. @@devinkeaer5430
I thought way back in house of m that logan’s amnesia was his healing factor at play, protecting him from his past traumas…
Good idea using the grayscale for the sharp bits
Sabretooth is still one of the coolest supervillain names ever
This series is bloody good bub
I love sabertooth.....always have been one of my favorites villains
Best rivalry ever! Sabretooth is a savage. Wolverine can barely manage him and now with all sabretooth’s upgrades, might just be it…Wolverine seems to be depowered also.
Ayo keep it coming and I'm loving it
I get Sabretooth is a psycho but they are grasping at making him this powerful
It just means wolverine might get a power up
Yeah. The guy used to get his ass kicked routinely by Iron Fist.
Really makes zero sense how is he able to kill so many other mutants lol
No Rob, Domino, Wolverine and Sabretooth aren’t coming close to taking down Hulk.
Dude I was thinking the same
I see people asking how Wolverine got his hands and feet cut off, Wolverine did it to himself by cutting his joints (which are not covered in Adamantium)
I appreciate the video. Your videos keep me up to date. Marvel is creatively bankrupt right now so I will not spend money on comics right now so I really appreciate you and your videos.
It been said before, while Sabretooth isn't the most powerful Mutant the X-Men or Wolverine faced, he is the most dangerous and I'm glad they're showing why!
um...you haven't been paying attention to what mr. sinister has been doing, have you?
That's what I thought made Sabertooth my favorite because he doesn't care about that he's there for blood
Ty sabertooth is my favorite marvel character
Quentin Quire has been treated sooooo bad since the beginning
I have so much going on in my mind when Rob says "on any given day this character can"; more often they can't back that up.
That team of three is getting packed in tissue boxes if they were to fight the Incredible Hulk.
Since Moria, Charles and Erik made this plan for a mutant nation it sounded great, but the level of hubris spread like a virus they got haughty it was not just those three but every seat on the Quiet council, Kitty Pryde on the Marauders, only Logan and a few others like Dimino saw what they were becoming, Logan was on road missions a lot to stay away.
To be Logan is to suffer and know every second grief has a loud voice, it's very short and one sided so I can't get with Aurora on how she feels towards Logan in this case, do they not know what each other goes through. Domino was aware enough to seek out Logan for his advice/ he offered it when she was first brought back after dying it was traumatic for her, the other she went to was Colossus this is a good team up to get something done but they would not be a stopping force for Hulk.
This fits Creed of old the way he moves and stalks the plans he comes up has layers and it's a brutal game with best adversary as the source of his aim.
Hopefully Marvel Comics is backing off from the "Wolverine can come back from a SINGLE CELL..or strand of DNA.. narrative..it was as if Wolverine had his OWN Ressurection Protocols... the WORST part of the Krakoan Era .
If EVERYONE can come back from the dead...then WTF is the point of ANYTHING?
Anyways even tho i TOTALLY DISAGREE with your statement that the remants of X Force can BEAT the Incredible Hulk..😂 this has been a great video..i needed to catch up with the Sabretooth War.
Keep up the great work brother.. looking forward to more of your videos..btw maybe you could make another video on the current Hulk run👑
This was addressed a bit in the comics with Nightcrawler and his church. He was simultaneously dealing with teenagers with no fear of death due to the protocols, Pixie essentially suiciding during a mission to see what resurrection felt like, and then Banshee coming in post-resurrection after former love Moira Mctaggert wore his skin to sneak through Krakoan gates. This was probably the thing that stuck out the most as to why Krakoa was never going to last. So many policies put out by the Council were too absolute for the world to abide and resurrection was eventually going to be the cost as a result.
Marvel characters have resurrected over years before krakoa what is point of death when villians and hero’s cheat death Spider-Man wolverine jean grey countless times apocalypse cable bishop cyclops and many more
Marvel has struggled with the role of death, if you're just a civilian out in the world that person is subject to dying and staying that way., for the rest it's a loophole to it, that was the point of the Five they negated death for clone regeneration at this point all mutants are pod people. Even worse Nathan Richards might be the most powerful being he ended permanent deaths.
Then there is the story with Thanos on a quest to restore Death, who has had a crisis of self and decided to become a human girl of some women who lost her daughter. Marvel has a crisis with the role and purpose of Mistress Death.
@@justinmcdonald2072 Also Thanos with the hammer and stones
I loved the resurrection protocols. That was an essential part of the dystopic element
Rob sews Wolverines hands backwards
Wolverine - Any last words, bub?
Rob - "Worth it."
These issues are the only really the only thing I’m interested in as far as the Fall of X story goes. The Sabertooth Wars are gruesome, and awesome
One thing I don't get with Fall of X is how the hell Wolverine keep getting beaten so easily
He's not invicible, most fights involving g someone who doesn't die in a cut just beats on him anyway
@@decidueyezealot8611 But he's also *Base, unamped Hulk level.* We don't need to even powerscale him, it's just plain to see.
I know what you mean, but I think he gets taken out a *tad* too easily.
@@XXMatt0040XX doesn't mean much when anyone with super strength does that, even the thing has fought hulk
@@decidueyezealot8611 It means a lot historically, Wolverine first appeared in a Hulk comic. There's sentimental value here that's important context. Gotta respect the OG
I'm so tired of clones in the X-Men. Death has no consequences.
Could not imagine being sane live as wolverine the amount of pain to have to feel is 5000 lifetimes of pain
Im always confused when wolverine loses limbs, like his skeleton is not supposed to break
Have you ever cut a whole chicken? Joints are the weak spots where you cut.
However, it doesn't make sense that the cut off limb grows back with adamantium...
There are gaps _between_ the bones. That's how you can _move._
@@nishaypillay3299 I believe his adamantium actually repairs itself if damaged, it's almost a symbiote in a way to Logan.
Honestly, just make up your own reasons. It's comic book logic
All of yall coming with real life examples for an imaginary metal thats unbreakable, and you mean to tell me that every time he got dismembered it was a clean cut in between the bones....come on the metal is not supposed to break!!! Sounds like bad writing to me.
@@rspsoundrazorsharpproducti419 Well I got the in-lore reason: Wolverine's Healing Factor caused the True Adamantium to change into what's called "Adamantium Beta." This was bonded at the molecular level, down to the *bone marrow.*
The adamantium is, like I said- almost a symbiote to him. Of course it's different but it's similar enough. The adamantium is akin to a symbiote codex; it's part and parcel to Logan's body. Yes, I am saying Wolverine's body creates it's own adamantium if it's fractured at all.
Source Wolverine (Vol. 2) #80
IMO giving Creed psychic powers makes him less scary.
"with the greatest of ease" - Smug 😉
"let's give sabertooth, one of the DEADLIEST MUTANTS TO EVER EXIST. Full control of the pit. So he doesn't lose his mine" how could this POSSIBLY go wrong.
Scary thought: onslaught + sabertooth persona = doomsday
i like the art on this one
Bring....Dakken...back
Wolverine has been through Emotional scars, and we all know that some Scars never heal. Especially when Wolverine found the butchered remains of Daken and it nearly went into a Berserker rage. Can't for this brutal final fight between Wolverine and Sabretooth on #49-50.
Bet he’s looking for the Muramasa blade so he can just end Wolverine there idk
3:45 He'd longer be known as Wolverine but Rakshasa instead lol
I honestly think he didn't gain powers but what happened was he gained a genius level intellect from the pit being able to expand his mind past its normal limits and be able to create and overcome any scenario he could concieve.
This arc has all my favorite people in it. ( minus gambit and deadpool) can't wait to see how this ends.
Your clear love and overwhelming enthusiasm for the subject is truly a daily balm for the soul. So THANK YOU! ☝️😁🙏
Still say sabertooth is too dumb and the whole head in a jar idea is too dumb to use it.
Man how i would love a carnagized sabertooth
Was this really the character that needed a new power
Beyond omega level: The Divine Creator
How did they cut off Logan's hands when his skeleton is adamantium?
Sage... The 1st X-Men 💪😎
This short series was made just to excite rob lol he made the video explaining how deadly saber tooth really is and now we get to see it play out
We need a Sabretooth,Carnage,Thanos team up
There should be a storyline where Darwin and Domino have a kid cause I wanna know the adaptive powers someone like that could have
I don't know how Sabertooth got to controlling Wolverine. The last video didn't cover that.
Domino would have to carry that hulk fight with Wolverine and Colossus because all they'll have is luck.
hey man can you cover sprites of vengence and heavens on fire and midnight sons comics?
This is one of the greatest cliff hangers
Put The Hulk Down? Ok.
"Take him out?"
No way!
Im just waiting for that wolverine and sabretooth fight. If it doesnt happen, im going to be super upset.
I actually wish marvel would set concrete rules for Lupine mutants. Logan, Creed, Wildchild, etc... have all had various degrees of psychic resistance and connection to the natural world. One of my favorite wolverine issues had him at the mansion when a Wraith appears. Wolvy gets in a battle of pure rage with it and both leave the school grounds. Banshee mentions that Wraiths can also be living and they cannot stand to be close to eachother. It's never been brought up since but would make sense that Lupine mutants specifically act like a Galactus on Earth. Nature created them to kill indiscriminately in order to keep an overall balance of life.
I hope they tie this thing to the Shadow King thing going on with Magneto and Storm, and that other thing going on with the Black Swans
You should do a beyond omega level for Jobu tapaki her powers are really interesting and hard to scale
Is not just Colossus skin, is his entire, solid body, that's why he doesn't need to breathe, drink or eat, because his body is a solid, yet capable of movement, piece of Osmiun.
What happend to Dominos's right arm?
You pronounce "cuckoo" like John Hodgman pronounces "tattoo." 😂
WolverAYNE is killing me
It doesn't add up. Rob's saying this is a new ability for Sabretooth but the panel clearly shows Pheobe saying she's sensing "some other force". Now, the other fact is that Creed building a multiversal army is very out of character to begin with, let alone how he even managed to travel the multiverse recruitung to begin with. So there is someone else pulling the strings here and someone capable of overpowering a clone of Emma Frost which is no small feat. My bet is this connects into the return of Onslaught who is already travelling the multiverse.
Sticks and stone will break wolverines bones but words will hurt forever
Happy Saturday from other side of the world
As someone who doesn't know a lot about marvel comics, it sure seems that Johnathan Hickman must be a brilliant writer. I always hear you mention his name.
Oh he's one of the few writers that I automatically read their story. If u haven't yet, I'd suggest checking out his runs on Fantastic four, Secret war and Avengers
@@jr_xtreme8940 Agreed. He's more like a novel writer. It's much deeper than other comics; even modern ones
I don't even read comics but I love your videos.
same lol
Wolverine's hands and feet got cut off? I call BS! How'd they cut thru his Adamantium?
I figured they just kinda cut around the bone and pulled the flesh. I know the art doesn't show it that way but I mean that's how you'd do it... I think
Is separate the joints
Same way Hulk did it to Ultimate. He separated the joints.
Sabertooth knows the ins and outs of Wolverine from fighting him constantly, he knows where the joints are.
So they left behind adamantium feet and hands?
Domino can't beat a chicken.
When referring to the group, would it be Saberteeth? Or Sabertooths?
LOL! W comment.
I just noticed in a video that Wolverine uses Sabreteeth to refer to the group in one of the comics.
Really want to see how this ends up. So crazy that they just pulled wolverine from the main fight.
Day 3 of asking for you to cover the image comics energon universe
They just need to give SABERTOOTH ATAMANIUM CLAWS and that NEW TONY STARK/EMMA FROST metal to his skeleton
Can someone explain how wolverines hands were chopped off when he has an adamantium skeleton? Did someone get a hold of the miramasu blade or something?
Comic book logic. Perhaps the adamantium meant for his hands has been retconned to have been transplanted into his bone claws.
I'm gonna be real with you though, I have no idea.
If they ripped It off by damaging the tendons, than it's possible
A skeleton is not one solid lump of bone. 😉
thats pretty smart for sabretooth
He can fly
It is called tundra rob, im from the high artic, it survives ice ages.
All seems to smart of a plan for a villian like sabertooth
You obviously don’t know Sabretooth, he’s one of the most cunning villains in Marvel, they’ve dumbed him down over the years
@@jighollygrove5589yeah not cunning in this sense though
Sabertooth is actually very cunning.
@@tylerg3679 Very much so, go back and read Sabretooth in the 90s era, he was extremely intelligent and crafty, over time the writers just turned him into basically a mindless animal, even in AoA, he was second under Magneto and their field commander, so basically Cyclops, he’s smart, they just don’t know how to really use him now, I appreciate the return to the intelligent monster Sabretooth
80's and early 90's sabertooth was sadistic, cunning, and nightmare fuel.
How does the adamantium in his hands and arms heal and reattach? Metal doesn't heal.
6:10 no, they can’t. All we need to do is get Greg Pak to write it.
NAH SABERTOOTH IS GOING JAMON
I agree Jamon
Jamón 🤘🏾😎
WOAHHHH
It looks like Colossus calmed Wolverine down. 6:31
I've enjoyed the Krakoa stuff for the most part, but the way they made Wolverine so weak is annoying to me as a long term fan. I mean the clones were all killed so easily. How?? Cutting off his limbs.. how? Wouldn't the adamantium prevent that?
And of course all the adamantium clones.. what happened to all that adamantium? Its just weird. I know many aren't happy about the reboot, but I actually look forward to it and hope they get back to the good stuff.
Adamantium bones wouldn't prevent his limbs from being cut off. Look at a skeleton; _there's gaps between the bones,_ otherwise you wouldn't be able to move.
@@Brickerbrack I think it's also established that Logan's adamantium self repairs. I may be wrong, but I'm gonna be real; we see Logan with no hand at all. Nothing. So while you are right, there's no hard proof.
Comic book logic is just how we gotta play it lol
I wanna note this: Wolverine does not actually have "True" Adamantium. He was *given* it, however it has become a sort of symbiote-like aspect of him. Wolverine's True Adamantium has morphed into what's called "Adamantium Beta." Think of it like semi-biological adamantium.
Because the True Adamantium bonded to Wolverine's body at the molecular level, his healing factor can actually synthesize and repair the Adamantium-B if it's damaged. This is not new, this has existed since Wolverine (Vol. 2) #80
Happy Friday!
