Considering they are having a monopoly on the ceramic keycap market rn....i think its justified until some Chinese sellers copy for like 1/4 of the price
They're mid at best quality wise. I own a pink set, i absolutely love how it sounds and feels, but the inconsistency in the way the keycaps sit on the board, and the shift keys sometimes hitting the edge of the keyboard is simply unacceptable for the price They're offering this for.
2 years and they still look like shit due to inconsistencies... damn. Honestly, it's attrocious at that price point. They sound so good but looking at that shit will just piss me off knowing I paid a premium price for them lmao. I've been on the lookout for these for years and the same complaints still keep coming around. It's like gambling, you dont know what kind of fucked up can happen to your set.... worst part is, no one else offers ceramic keycaps goddamnit lmao
the spacebar is obviously too heavy 😭 if you read the FAQ u would have known.... u can either replace the switch w a lekker 60 (should work) or buy a spring pack and replace the spring of the switch (too complicated and more expensive)
Appreciate the video, man. I'm trying to get my wooting to sound less...plasticy. I already swapped the case+weight, better foam, some "stuffing" in the spacebar, and the O ring mod around the entire PCB. I guess other than the spacebar needing a heavier spring in the board, it'd be just about perfect. I think all the Lekker's are only about 40g weight to get it to start actuating. Now to research springs, I guess.
the keycaps made your keyboard more thocky; 120usd is wild tho

There's alot of plastic keycaps more expensive than this
more worth it than GMK keycap s
you think 120 usd is bad? i have to pay 190 AUD excluding shipping!
@@SpacePieceZ thats how money conversion works
Get your hands on the Wooting 80-100g springs. I got them for my Cerakey set and it totally transforms the spacebar.
keep postin bro, I really enjoy your videos
Which switches are used in the video?

@@il_kiri yep!
Do you plan on buying the Wooting 80HE?
Jaeky you should make more of the custom keyboard videos. Very interesting
Great review! I'm wondering if you've had the chance to review Awekeys metal keycaps. Any insights on how they stack up?
Can you play games with these?
Is there a way to achieve the thocky sound profile from ceramic keycaps without actually using ceramic keycaps?
jade green switches I've heard
Goated vid
