About Water Fountain:
The story behind the song is basically that a girl believed she was in love with Alec, yet he thought that she was too young for them to be in a relationship. Later on, Alec realised that he loved her, though she had gotten together with somebody else by then. Recently, she's actually gotten happily married.
Crying Alone Oh frick that reminds me of a relationship I had with this boy. I broke it off cause I thought we were to young, but I’ve kinda regretted it now. Even if he’s not with someone else atm.
You should listen to “paper crown” by Alec, it’s a beautiful song that isn’t too sad, “lock me up for life is also pretty sad, but it also sounds amazing, But besides those, if you wanna listen to more of him just search his name and listen to some of his random songs, almost all of them sound amazing
The ironic part is that paper crown actually was the only song that made me tear up when seeing Alec live.
Paper crown I think is hauntingly beautiful and honestly pains me a lot, one of my fav songs

I always thought death of a hero was about one of his parents and how as he grew up he realized that they weren't as perfect as they seemed when he was younger. I also rlly like ur analogy though.
I think Alec Benjamin said in an interview, that it’s about a celebrity that he really looked up to, he also said that he didn’t want to say when it happened because he didn’t want people to know who the song was about, so I think it was a big celebrity.
