I think its worth to mention that the 240B is one of the only guns that gains a lot from the bipod. the only bad thing about the 240B+bipod is the bipod deployment and movement.
The 240-Chainsaw is my most used gun. I've personally never considered using it suppressed. I prefer to just saw dudes in half and let them know where it's coming from, and feed my gun's hunger for souls. The 240B with competent microbursting can get the job done beyond 50ish meters, but as Darth says, it's not going to be particularly fun or fast. But if you master this gun, no one can stop you on infantry flanks on Lockers, Market, or Metro. You'll cut them down, and lumber away, while the enemy watches their spawn screens with a chip on their shoulder
I think it's better used in Rush for the defending team, overlooking choke points on a bipod - I've melted whole squads doing this. Kind of campy and cheap but it works

The LMGs get a lot of benefit from them because it reduces the time it takes to get back to base spread after running around, especially with the 240. I'd even leave the lasersight out. If you need to hipfire you are probably going to die anyway. With the amount of spread you'll reduce your ttk more if you simply ADS and aim at your target, even in CQB. Great video, this is my most used LMG (even though I never could figure out what worked best for me, i've tried every possible loadout and it doesn't seem to help in any way, it just keeps on firing) and I've been waiting for a proper analysis. You hit the nail on the head on this weapon.

This gun drives me nuts. With the random accuracy deviation, I want to jump out of a window (IRL) when I see my cross hair on an enemy and no hit marker. And of course its made worse by suppression and strafing. I am a big strafer so I need a gun that won't penalize my movement as much. (On console, I often use strafing instead of the aim stick when I am trying to get my crosshair on top of distant targets) Plus there was the bug where if you went ADS while firing you would still be using hipfire accuracy that really put a bad taste in my mouth with the LMGs. (That was fixed, right?) I don't care if it has a high DPS, I won't be able to hit anything on the move while being shot at. I'd rather stick with something more accurate, albeit weaker like the RPK.
Man, I love this series. I still really enjoy this game so much. With all the updates the DICE team has done, this game is still incredible at 3 years old. I just wish the DLC maps were more in rotation on Domination and TDM. I played the Death Star DLC and as immersive as that is, I find I get bored quickly with it..and I'm a Star Wars fan. Kind of weird I think.

Coyote, Laser, Heavy Barrel, Potato. The recoil is already ridiculous you might as well make it straight vertical, and the spread bonuses from stacking the two spread attachments together creates a situation where you’ve turned the chainsaw into a lightsaber. You absolutely have to be able to tame recoil and aim, but oh man. When you can 2-5 round burst the entire enemy team accurately and faster than they can react suppressed or not, it’s a goooooooood feeling.
I just realized all the guns you give yes have the barrel pointing to the left on the thumbnail and every gun you give a no you point the barrel of the gun on the thumbnail to the right, is this correct? Can you also do the cslr4?

I liked using the m240b on rush lockers with a bipod heavy barrel and depending on the mcom stations a short to mid range scope it's pretty mean there but most lmgs in that position but the m240b with its highest dps in class makes me prefer it
Also the heavy barrel isn't that bad on this weapon if I can control it on console I'm sure you can with a mouse it dosnt feel so unwieldy but I find it very useful
You Finally Admitted it, The Green Laser sight is the superior Attachment, better than any other laser, and harder to see through smoke, and also it can get confused with the squad symbol

To be honest, even if you use Componsator+Angled Grip to manage the recoil it still feels like you can't control it. I play on console and the gun recoil on it is hard to control.
Don't bother with the angled grip, especially if you are going to use the compensator. Try comp+stubby instead, if you want to squeeze a bit more range out of it (though I've found that using this over the Hbar stubby doesn't really matter that much in practice).
Thing is I don't like using the stubby grip, it doesn't really do anything for me. When I use it, the benefits of it don't help me in anyway. I only run angled and ergo grip/vertical.

The stubby grip is a straight upgrade, and considering the compensator increases SIPS a shitton, it's a needed combo if you don't want your gun to suck. "It doesn't do anything for me" is bull, don't limit yourself by "this feels wrong", your gun will always perform better if you put that stubby on there.

Essentially, they're interchangable. The 416 is better for staying in the fight with its amazing reload time. The L85 is the best against headglitchers and the only one of the 3 that can keep doing this with an Hbar + stubby. The ACE23 is in the middle, with a little bit more ROF, and those 5 extra rounds making it possible to clear rooms a lot more easilly.
The M240b is actually great at long range if you have the right attachments. I suggest a magnifier, bipod and heavy barrel. Just find some high ground and you can lase down people at medium-far range.
G36C is a straight upgrade and yet that one is also useless. The AR variant is usable, but not as a competitive weapon (don't use it in 30Hz btw, it is literally useless there) and shouldn't be used over the AR160 or AUGA3 ever.
It's a shame that the low firerate weapons are so useless as well. The G36 is one of my favorite weapon platforms, and the QBZ-series are standard Chinese weapons.

I feel like this gun is meant for using it with a bipod but the game is so friggin fast for a large scale game bipod is rarely usefull.

Yeah, bipod is really only good if you plan on being a turret.

Yeah, do JS2. For a long time it's been my fav PDW. Got beat by MP7 though. But still it's beast in CQB and you don't see it very often.

There’s been some more servers now that bf5 is gone.
Put a bipod and 2x red dot sight and this thing easily blows all DMRs out of the water.

Nothing is the best, each has it's pros and cons. Depends upon your playstyle
