I'd never really used it much before, but this video made me revisit it and boy does it melt faces, even in CQB. It's slow rate of fire is offset by its pinpoint accuracy. I'm getting better success than a silenced M240B, even with a naked barrel because most of my shots hit.
I watched so many of your reviews and I legit use almost all the weapons you said not to use. (Mtar is my main carbine, P90 is my main PDW and M98B is my main sniper rifle)

These videos have been very useful. I have wanted to make Faction specific loadouts in bf4 for US, RU and CH. I have finally been able to decide each kit and each faction their guns based on the country that gun was made in and if it actually has playable value in the hectic environment of Bf4’s multiplayer.
I'm still not sold on this weapon. I think the M60 and 240B are better weapons at the opposite ends of their specialization while the RPK seems like a better substitute for someone that's looking for a SCAR on the Support.
Andrei Valdez fair point. Wait though till you drop a man with 1 tap (2 headshots) and you'll see why it's so good. I have 24 service stars with this gun on console. Supressor, stubby grip. You can take a corner and tap tap tap and take out 6 people easily if you flank them well and still have 60 bullets left! And you can go one-on-one against pesky snipers off in a distance just by tapping continuously in their general direction you will clip them and take them out usually within three to four seconds and they will be suppressed so cannot fireback accurately
grandmasterbruce oh yeah it can definitely kill at range, I can reliably kill targets that are just tiny dots on the screen when I run it with the 2x magnifier. On Paracel storm I've killed enemies on the sniper island near the Russian spawn from all the way at C point. Also this might be just me or something but I just tend to get a lot more kill with it while in vehicles than any other gun in the game.
It's also a kill if you hit one to the head and one to the body, because the headshot multiplier, is actually 2.14x Edit: also is this old gameplay or is there an option to let you know when someones running defensive, I think i'm missing something

Francesco Genua i have 2500 kills on consol. Supressor stubby grip. Heavy barrel makes it too inaccurate at range imo. Once you get used to the suppressor and the slower bullet velocity you can still be really accurate with it at range and it just means you need to peek corners with higher accuracy and even prefire, but makes you a silent Assassin for flanking 😉
Hey Darth. Love that you finally did the PKP. i've been using it a lot lately to hold down lanes and flank/ambush at long range. Recently I've been trying the XM25 Dark as a room clearing room in CQC and was wondering if i should just the shorty shotgun instead? aka XM25 Dart yes or no? Edit: and yes, i the shorty has a more consistent 1 shot kill but i find it safer to pull out a well-rounded pistol when i'm reloading the XM25 dart or LMG. besides, you can't pull out a pistol when your reloading your shorty. :P

The amout of chokepoints that enemies smoke to try and avoid getting shot make for good suppression while your team can focus their effort someplace else. Drop ammo for them then myself in my spot with a bipod
I've just come back today to BF4 and holy shit you were wrong in the damage calculation. 33 damage means a 4-shot-kill, not 3. Unless your target is slightly damaged, its time to kill is more than 400ms.
I know this is asking a lot but could you do a recomend guns video for consoles? Even though the Aek is amazing and not too bad to control on PC on consoles it kicks like a bull having its nuts pulled.

I like the M60E4 better than the PKP Pecheneg because it fires alot faster and can go alot farther at long range.

What Darth suggested, i.e. tap fire it. If you hold down the trigger you will hit nothing but the ceiling.

i run PKP with x4 scope and bipod, I set up with friendly snipers and ill outsnipe the enemy sniper with my x4 pkp lol.
I like to call it the better m60 faster reload and 30 rounds faster fire rate
