As someone who isn’t a Zerg main, Scarlett is definitely my favorite Zerg player. She’s not only a great player but it’s also entertaining to watch her gameplay. Most zergs are skilled but bore me.

1:23 - That attack caused way more damage than it should have. Major screw up by Cure. Those zerglings shouldn't have breached into the base in the first place.
The whole start of the game was a screw up. That first hellbat drop was TERRIBLY executed. They barely attacked the drones at all and then didn’t load into the medivac despite having ample time to do so. They just got very little done.

What a nailbiting game 2! (Well, game one in this video 'cos where is the real game 1?)
Great play from both players. Potential spoiler, as if surprise brood lords doesn't spoil the result :D There is something about how Terrans sort of "go down fighting" that bugs me a little bit. Scarlet gets lings into the natural and kill 12 workers in the opening stages of the game. That is game over. I feel like if a Terran pushes hellions into the natural and roast the entire mineral line of a Zerg, 90% of Zergs at least at the higher levels will recognize that as a game ending disaster, and tap out. And then again when Scarlet shows that huge of a force into Cures natural, I feel like she was actually expecting Cure to realize then that he was done, and tap out. I was kind of surprised he stayed in the game, and it felt like we only really had a game to watch because Cure was too stubborn to face the music. And again the last game, Broodlords are destroying his main base, supported by queens and corruptors. His ground force is seen off by a superior bane/ultra count. And still it takes him a good minute to tap. This is something I see tons and tons of Terrans do, stay long past the point where its obvious they have lost. What is up with that? (Sorry for a wall of text. Needed to rant due to unrelated RL issues, and this is a better way :p )

Not a knower of this game, but this human faction seems a bit OP. Fast attacks, strong ones at that, able to collect and drop troops at whim and being able to move structure. Seems like a faction one would pay extra money to get an edge over the rest. AND healers.
All 3 factions look pretty OP when they get a lead in the hands of a good player

Why is Cure playing with a small number of multiple unit types? Scarlett's strategy really works well with Zerg play. Mass of any unit types + her good control always beat any kind of micro.

@@tomfrost1713 Which is confusing to me, didn't these people learn this in school? I'm from Finland and we don't have gender pronouns, we only have the word "hän", which means "they" in English. So we don't have words like "he" or "she". I had to learn how to use gender pronouns and now I'm wondering if some people skipped their classes or something, when they confuse gender with biological sex.

If they're below a certain age, then they were. But seeing as Inspector Void is notorious for coating his ""arguments"" with mindless ad hominems (insults to prove you're correct), I feel Void isn't very old, but just ignorant.
I dont get why terrans waste 20k minerals worth of mules for scans when they can just make a raven for clearing creep...
idk, maybe it just doesnt allign with the build order and would take too long \_o_/, scans are also faster and less vulnerable than a raven.
sacrifices a starport reactor for a worthless tech lab, ravens are expensive, ravens do not scale well into late game, clunky to control, easily sniped by vipers

Vipers. Raven's are too susceptible to vipers.
Mostly because Ravens are almost useless vs Zerg. They are hilariously powerful vs opposing Terran or Protoss, but the lack of mechanical units for Interference Matrix and a lot of Zerg units being cheap high-DPS frail fodder units makes AA Missile redundant in most cases against Zerg. Another problem is that the Raven has to be babysat since it's a high-priority Viper/Infestor target.
It CAN be decent as a more cost-effective creep clearer that just plops down auto turrets on creep...but outside of that role it effectively does nothing against Zerg. Quite ironic because its earlier iterations were godlike against Zerg.
Cure's gameplay is as bad as his haircut LOL!!!

It was a surprise for cure, but not for the spectator, since the greater spire can be seen morphing and the casters talk about it about 2 minutes in advance :D

Great video, not the biggest fan of the casters though. Not to be rude, but casters like Artosis or Day9 just have such an intimate & detailed understanding of the game by comparison. These two are certainly knowledgeable(and more than me) sc commentators, but it seems so fluff by comparison. Statements like "you gotta watch out for" feel like needless meta commentary. Also, the analysis is more reactionary(i too can watch the screen). Back in the day, commutators like Klazart could tell you what was going to happen 2-3 minutes before it did.
Maybe i'm taking a piss here, but this feels all sizzle and no steak to me. Stick to fundamentals*

@Kevin Dev You'll notice if you listen to the video the commentators use female pronouns for Scarlett. You'll also notice them on Scarlett's liquipedia page. That's because those are the pronouns she has chosen to go by, and has asked others to use for her. Therefore people with respect and common decency chose to honor her wishes and use them. Those who do, are not going to be convinced to change their opinion just because you have made it your campaign to try and show how little you respect others wishes.

Welp. I will do my part in this necessary battle against postmodernism by saying that gender, as explained by social constructionists (i.e. behaviours and roles associated to sex), is not a thing. Behaviors and identity are strongly correlated to your sex, they are not social constructs. Every species has individuals with deviant behaviours, it's not a big deal. However, those people have a right to exist, a right to be respected, and to be associated legally in marriage-like unions. Sexual inclination is not a predictor of competence, or being a good friend, or person in general.
On another note, Scarlet is a very disruptive Zerg player. Very fun to watch!
