    I needed a way to stretch out and enjoy laying in the sun on my deck but also wanted something that was beautiful and functional at the same time. I designed this platform-style outdoor lounge chair that offers two different levels of incline or lays down completely flat for those times you want to fall asleep and get sunburn. Additionally, the other portion opens up to offer a sizable internal storage compartment for things that you want to keep handy during your lounging or for things that you don't want to blow away in the wind. Check out the video and then head over to FishersShopOnline.com and pick up the plans to build one for yourself!

      Jim Pudar does it release well also? My adapter got ?dirty? And have to use pliers to get the bit out.

    • @larsrasmussen877
      @larsrasmussen877 4 роки тому +1

      @@shofarsogood7504 It's a known issue, that these bit holders tends to fill up with little bits of metal pieces and then the release function gets "clunky" and doesn't always want to release. I often have to use my bit holder in thight spaces which also rules out these bulky bit holders. Had a Wera bit holder for ½ year and then ditched it ;-)

    Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed it! I'm anticipating people asking why I built it so low to the ground. The main reason is cedar isn't sold in anything wider than 2x6 around me. If I were to raise it up higher with the 4x4 legs, it would negate the use of the internal storage. I'd have to add a bottom which would just add to the complexity of the build. Otherwise, I could stack up multiple 2x6s on the sides to raise the chair and make the storage much deeper, but then the chair becomes very heavy and cumbersome. I thought this was a happy medium. Pick up the plans for yourself, you can adjust them accordingly to meet exactly your tastes! :)

    • @rrbee

    A story on the topic of borrowing from the neighbor.. we hold a family Christmas party each year. Every year when my father-in-law finally had the fire going, he needed more logs and he asked us sons-in-law to go next door to borrow a few logs from neighbor John. Many years there was fresh snow on the ground we clearly left our footprints visible but even still he knew what was hapening. Finally one year... I saw John sitting on our porch steps drinking a beer. I invited John in and he declined by saying.. no thank you, I know what the deal is... every year you take a log.. every year I drink your beer. John was a GREAT neighbor. God bless him, I miss hiim!

    To counteract your problem with driver bits pulling out of their holder, I can highly recommend the locking bit holders made by Wera: they are a little bit bulkier in the width, but they sure as beck hold onto the bits until you decide to remove them. 👍👍👍
