Such a regal looking kit. Shame about the stickers. The amount of stickers isn't really the let down but the size of said stickers. For areas that big and that thick, Bandai shouldve just molded parts. Not very premium, Bandai.
does not make sense for them to make a new mold for a kit that was only in a manga that they know is not gonna sell a lot of units im sure if this were not based off an older kit the sticker count would be far lower and for that matter any one who is not painting there kits need to get out of the kiddie class and start painting like all other model builders
@@paktahn I also paint my kits so these things doesn't bother me that much personally. lol. Just saying it couldve been a better kit considering most parts where there are color issues are actually new molds specific to the M91: knees, front skirts, shoulders, and so on... This is the gunpla that even Meijin Kawaguchi himself can't defeat. If you guys remember in eps 22 of og fighters, Tatsuya/Meijin stated that even after many battles he couldn't defeat Mckenzie once, and the latter only using normal F91 just with customized color.

Yeah I knew it from the wiki. I fell in love with the red F91 from the series and the big grill on the chest. I enjoy the simpler look of the F91 much more.
I love the design of the kit! The backpack, the side skirts, the spear and of course, the V fin! It looks a lot like a kit that I would customize if I have the money to do so:3
Well, if someone needed a McDonald's logo on their other kits, this is the box to get. It comes with an entire Gundam with bad color accuracy as an extra... Or just go to a good printing shop and have them print a bunch of McDonald's stickers in a single sheet.
Honestly the work you put into this. Ut looks really good. If I didnt know any better and someone told me this was a real grade you reviewed I would have been fooled. First look: Wow! What an awesome gunpla! The P-Bandai kits are really rocking with the color separation! After 3 minutes: Dam you Mecha, you kept my hopes up. (Nice job in painting!)
If you have an air brush, you can pick up the adapter for gundam markers for pretty cheap, it makes doing large-ish surfaces easier if you don't want to clean out your airbrush between each color.
Man, the marker airbrush system is GENIUS. I use it almost exclusively for all my painting apart from priming. AND the adapter fits Posca markers as well.
Although the chance are really slim, I am still hoping bandai would do this as an MG using the new F91 base. I would even pay a P bandai price as this is one of the most beautiful gunpla designs for me

If you mean bad articulation as in the range of the joints, I don’t hate that, but if you’re talking about CRAPPY joints (I.e. the knees on the HG Seltsam or Aegis Knight, the shoulder sections) that fall apart, then I disagree.
correct. I didn't mean the weak joints that tend to fall apart since I don't like it as much as color inaccuracies and pretty much not really fun to play. as for articulations, as long as its limitations are logical or at least manages to do a basic pose, I don't really mind actually.
@@idealy8456 yeah me too. Limited articulation isn’t bad, especially if a certain articulation point moving might “break the sculpt” of the figure/model kit. But when kits fall apart, they get thrown to the back of my display shelf in a basic pose, or just put in a box as a scrap part source.
@@MusicFan752 well, silhouette wise it's not the worst, albeit it could be better really. overall wise its stickers aren't that much but still cannot fix the inaccuracy of its rifle. personally its bad articulation is not my main concern really, I think its waist blocking could be fixed (I never touched it so correct me if I'm wrong). but what I don't like from it is how loose it is (especially weapons) based on several reviews. so, my answer is, no, Tristan is still bad.

Just a personal comment/criticism on the video, I'm not sure if you're trying something new here but I'm personally not a fan of reading a lot of the descriptions in the manual. They feel like filler and makes it look like you don't have much to say about the kit itself, specially since the articulation section is a sped up summary + 3 poses. Granted, the kit is based on an older one that you already reviewed so I might be just nitpicking. All that might just be me though, seeing that nobody else is pointing it out but I thought I'd comment on it anyway.
