Thanks Blaine! although during my process I noticed there are slight differences with the files theyre all there, but its one click not two for one file and the 6.61 pro file has the pro update file in the folder and other stuff so you dont drag and drop it you go in and find the pro update folder then drag and drop. But other than that everything went smoothly. Thanks!

Great tutorial again Blaine. Just wondering whether or not it’s ok to delete the infinity and cfw apps off of the psp after we’re done with them.

Thanks a million! On the same site for the custom firmware, they do have the updates as well. It's mentioned in there, but just emphasizing that remember to rename the update file to "EBOOT". Otherwise PSP reads it as corrupted data.
Now I'm a happy jailbroken E1000 street owner :D

Just bought a beautiful yellow/gold PSP 3000. I'm in love, been wanting the colored versions for years. I've had 3, 1 modded, 2 stock until they got stolen with my OG PS2!
I love the PSP, wish they would remake them.
Also have a stock vita I gave to my brother. Will probably LCD swap this one and keep the shell as its just gorgeous
A lot of popular guides I've found mention only the psp1000 and some psp2000 can have permanent cfw. But with infinity 2, you can install permanent cfw on all models to play emulators, is that correct?

I'm what you can call an O.G. PSP modder. I can remember back to when we would downgrade 2.0 firmware to 1.5 to run unsigned code using GTA Liberty City Stories. Almost forgot the picture method of modding where a JPEG image would be used. Then, Device Hook came along and that was a solid way of running code that was not authorized. Then, a coder from Spain known only as Dark Alex (read: legend) unveiled custom firmware which was a game changer. Now, here we are in 2023 and I am modifying a PSP for a friend of a friend and that brings me to you Blaine. I have not modded a PSP in several years and am looking forward to showing a fellow gamer the wonders of software modification.

Thanks! Well, the bigger, the better. I thing that the Memort Stick Pro Duo can do is 32GB out of the box. There are also adapters that can make use of microSD memory.
Im gonna be using this, since i found a very old psp (which..i think is 1000?) in my uncles room, i was very interested in it, despite me being a nintendo fan lol, cant wait to get this done when i find a charger!

When I try to install the 6.61 pro c2 mine will sit on a black screen before turning it self off? Even plugged in the wall it does it.

If you have regular purchased PSP games will they still work, also does the infinity and the other program need to stay on the memory card or can it be deleted once installed?

I did with no issues on my 3000 model
Can I delete the Infinity and the ProUpgrade files from my memory card? and is it normal after updating that my psp 1000 has a bunch of blank white colors in the theme settings?? like they should be there but there not and just blank colors, thank you
As the psp go has 16gb internal storage, are we able to install these firmwares and the ISO games straight into the internal storage?
If we want to change/upgrade the memory card to higher capacity for some reason then do we need to follow all the above steps again?

Hey @Blaine Locklair quick question since I have a psp3000 from Japan and the X and O buttons are swapped are the prompts for pro c and infinity different?
From Japan here, no they are the same in the apps. Only the home menu will use Japan controls.
Can you delete infinity 2 and still play the downloaded ISOs or is it necessary for the games to run?
