- We took a winter camping trip out to northwest Tennessee to see the eagles at Reelfoot Lake. We saw 55 on our tour. According to the ranger, that is a lot! It felt like it and was pretty awesome. We also hiked on the very pretty boardwalk trail at the park. It was evidently so cold that it froze the microphone on my camera. When I got home there was no sound on most of the video?!? We had some other issues on our first winter RV camping experience but got all of those worked out and we had a successful trip!

Such a beautiful place.
It is as good as anything we saw down in Big Cypress NP and The Everglades NP...and no Burmese Pythons!
