I was advised by IFI Audio, that the specification has been adjusted on the website in regards to the actual performance of the device and not the peak performance.. Keep on rocking the hifi Community.. Disgraceful marketing stunt by IFI. Don't really care if it's been adjusted now. Not looking for raw power but for actual authentic sonic reproduction. Who really was anyway? Would anyone with a Hifiman Susvara really consider this as adequate for their headphones?
i have this unit. Paired with my Radon 6 customs and the results are breathtaking.I know Cam had issues with marketing info but this is absolutely a stunning performer. I love the way it works. BTW, the line out dual xlr cables pair with my zahl hm1 as a preamp.
Great Review! I was wondering if you've heard the Burson Soloist Voyager. I am currently trying to decide wherever to get the Bliss KTE or Voyager Deluxe Package as there seems to be different sound advantages with each topology. Not much information online in relation to a head to head comparison unfortunately. It would be a good video idea as the 2 units appear to be the best in the specific price range. I'd recommend contacting Elite Audio UK as they are a Burson reseller that tend to offer home demos for most products. You may be able to work something out to shoot a video review
Hey there! Great review as always, I appreciate your style of reviewing quite a lot. Have you tried the Meze Rai Penta btw and what do you think of it? Greetings from Germany :)
Heard about it, sadly never got to hear it, not yet anyways, always wanted to the opinion on it is very heated every time LOL hopefully I can bring it in from Meze after the next three units they’re sending
@@ConvinceMeAudio Ok, thank you! I just got an awesome deal of these for 395€ with shipping & fees & an additional 150$ Meze 4.4mm cable I’ve never seen an IEM with reviews this mixed, but at that price I am just going to sell it again if it’s not for me, really excited to hear them :)
I owned the ifi hip Dac 1 then sold it… still have the ifi go blu and love it. Just picked up and hip Dac 3 so we shall see. I really like the ifi products ive owned especially for the price paid. If I was going to spend $400 for a more powerful portable amp I probably would go with the earman Angel which is a sister company of auris. If needing even high end I would go mass kobo 428 for $1k and even higher I would go Brise for $1.5k used.
My iFi Phantom cleared the local customs bureau last week, so hopefully it will be here by the end of this week! Can't wait to see how it invigorates my HiFiMan, Audeze, Sennheiser and Mod House headphones (when the latter arrives later this year, that is).
@@AmaljithR-l2k I am sure you know obviously you have to temper expectations with a battery power device that’s portable, for these incredibly demanding set of headphones, I would personally pick Diablo to myself though Hugo to Andy to go together is how I would use it and those as a rule are not really good for 1266 and SS for low end but separation and stage is fantastic
Love mine too.. great performance for the price and a great form factor. I use my go blu everyday for commuting via lite rail and then for in office use. Have a bunch of iems and focal Celestee and it’s perfect. Getting a hip Dac 3 for more difficult to drive closed backs
So I thought I'd put in a review request on this video since I don't know how to contact you. Could your review the new premium iFi Audio GoBar Kensei dongle DAC. $449 This is iFi Audio's finest effort on dongle DACs. It's a premium product so that's why I thought of you. Can it replace a desktop dac away from home? Is it worth the extra scratch? How does it compare to your beloved M15? We all need to know.
According to Golden Sound this suffers from channel imbalance with IEMs at lower volumes. It uses an analogue potentiometer so that is a real possibility. Test it with your IEMs before you buy. If it is true that is completely unacceptable at a price of £1300 #ripp off
After hearing about the deceptive marketing from IFI, I have stayed away from ALL their products. I believe you that this Diablo2 is better than the original but the deceptive marketing and the Turbo mode cutting out at 1 o'clock on the volume knob makes this product and brand a pass for me personally.
Even before the misrepresentations about their products I judged them in head to head comparisons with some other brands to be inferior in difficult to drive headphone situations.

Nice Review. I became a fan of the IFI stuff because of the XBASS feature. I would never buy any IFI product like Diablo/2 that is without it.

I wish they had not done that, but yes, it’s an upgrade in every way love the black background

Hi mate. Please try get your hands on the Astell&Kern ACRO CA1000T. It looks amazing, but I need your trusted opinion first!!
It’s been here for a couple of months, it’s fantastic. Need to show the review soon.

It’s allegedly the same thing (iFI stack) in a new box according to Thorston Luesch.
Bro,diablo 2 or hugo 2 which one can drive headphones-susvara,hd 800s,abyss 1266 really good to get that soundstage and low end thump

Hello, what in your opinion is the best dynamic headphone for bass under £1500?
Used focal utopia, ZMFVO, would definitely be the two I would look for
@@ConvinceMeAudio Thanks for the reply, anything less than or around £1000 u could recommend? thinking Focal Elex atm
Братан, подскажи что по звуку лучше Mojo 2 или Diablo 2 ?
I swear by my IFI Go Blue 👍👍

No imbalance problems here tried it with 15 units
2.3 ohm - 32 ohm

Valid points, can’t be argued with, but if you do get to come across one, have a listen when it’s warmed up it’s special sadly
