P.S. I don't think communism is evil btw, this disbelief is result of propaganda, it has many good ideas, but I think it's irrational. Im from ex Yugoslav area, ex Socialist country, all my family members lived in Socialism.
Education was free, healthcare was free, even housing was free, jobs were plenty and stable and the working class lived peacefully knowing that their existence and the existence of their children is secured.
People had much more than they have today.
Besides, Communism is not about "giving things for free". You couldn't get a free apartment in Yugoslavia if you didn't work. Communism is about the class interests of the Proletariat, the productive members of the society. The reason why the common people lived better in Socialist Yugoslavia was because there was no class of capitalists that owns everything and exploits their work.
Communism is also natural, the idea of "Primitive Communism" was inspired by hunter-gatherer societies. Everyone contributed to the collective and everyone got what they need in return. When you look at the tribes today, when you ask them what is your best day in life, most of them will tell you "It was when i killed the biggest animal and whole tribe had meat to eat". They don't just simply sit and wait for others to hunt. Humans are collectivist in nature, but Capitalism turned us individualistic.
