It would be great if you react to official music video and then the episode of sabaton history about Warsaw Uprising. I myself am from Warsaw and my ancestors were in Warsaw when uprising broke out. Cześć i chwała Bohaterom! Glory and respect to our Heroes!

The song is about a specific historical event - Warsaw uprising. It was really tragic and is one of thr main symbols of Polish resistance. Please read some more about it and losten to the song again - it hits different.

Kto Ty jesteś? Polak mały. Jaki znak Twój? ORZEŁ BIAŁY. Who are You? A little Pole. What’s Your symbol? A WHITE EAGLE. Old poem taught in school showing that we are holding a pride and sentiment of our beautiful country which suffered a lot and always got up! Stronger! Our Eagle is our Phoenix ❤

Warsaw, the city of the Phoenix, reborn from the ashes, immortal like the Phoenix and the Polish nation, indestructible 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱

For Poles this song means a lot. I always got wet eyes when listening. During Warsaw uprising the Germans killed about 150 thousand of Polish civilians, most of them was children’s. They been furious that they wanted to knockout all Warsaw . The same time Russian army been waiting on the other side of Vistula river and just watched.

And precisely because the Allies did not help the Poles, we learned an important lesson: if you can count, count on yourself. 2. Save yourself, for no savior will appear.

Mert Pol, I love you for what you are doing for Poland.

You've already made reaction to the football fans in Warsaw commemorating 1944 uprising, now you have another piece to this puzzle, maybe next time you could react to a film on the Warsaw uprising itself to see the whole picture ?

Watch "Miasto 44" and " Miasto ruin" my family though and survived, came back, and rebuilt. My mom played on the ruins. Before 1989, as kids, we would stop at hour "w". Now, all do it in respect.
