Sabaton is actually swedish group, they made a lot of history songs, not everything is about Polish history but overall European! love Sabaton!

For Poles this song means a lot. I always got wet eyes when listening. During Warsaw uprising the Germans killed about 150 thousand of Polish civilians,most of them was children’s. They been furious that they wanted to knockout all Warsaw . The same time Russian army been waiting on the other side of Vistula river and just watched.
And precisely because the Allies did not help the Poles, we learned an important lesson: if you can count, count on yourself. 2. Save yourself, for no savior will appear.
Everytime I hear this song, and 40-1, I just cant hold my tears back. What a song. What a tribute. Respect to Sabaton!
I was there... magical moment and they played this song on the 1st od august - wich is a date of Warsaw uprising (1944)

He also learned how to pronounce "Warsaw, fight back!" in Polish: "Warszawo, Walcz! ".
My Polacy kochamy nasz kraj, czujemy go w naszych żyłach, jest nam potrzebny jak powietrze.

Watch "Miasto 44" and " Miasto ruin" my family though and survived, came back, and rebuilt. My mom played on the ruins. Before 1989, as kids, we would stop at hour "w". Now, all do it in respect.
