People say Jon is bad. He's really just too humble. Not to mention good at music, which is already more than enough for one person to be. Or should be. You want him to be a musician, a comedian, a funny sidekick, deeply likeable AND tv ready? For his new salary sure. Yet he isn't all of this things. What he is, is human, and a good example of one to boot.
I honestly never got the awkwardness. Always just thought that was part of the comedy, like how the saxophone clip was 2 seconds too long. Shit was so much funnier just with that tiny little detail 🤣🤣 Jon was always funny af and I love him even more for all of this ❤
Jon and Stay Human came to my high school last year while they were on tour. Before their gig in our town, they all took some time to do a clinic with our varsity jazz band; really great group of guys. We all have signed copies of their cds now 👌

Wow, I just discovered these because I missed seeing Jon Batiste on The Late Show during Corona 2020 and I just gotta say, what a motherfucking treat! I have always found him to be such a likable guy and of course, can’t forget marvelously talented.
I know that I'm grave posting, and that I doubt anybody will ever read this, but that magic eye joke about the pianos at the beginning of this was really funny. I feel like it might have slipped past unnoticed and I just wanted to give credit to a pretty good joke.
