Just Pretend my all time favorite Elvis song!! This Lady has a nice voice but I prefer just Elvis singing any of his songs. The only exception was when his Daughter Lisa Marie sang with her Daddy on a few songs. It was like a historical collaboration.
Without getting into a comparison between artist, the best part of these type of live hommage performances for me is that when done with class, momentarily they really bring Elvis back. Perhaps it is the new setting, the nervousness of will it be respectful enough or the fact that it is happening in our time but my mind is tricked for a fraction of a second imagining how seeing the king perform live must have been back then. It also gives a sense of what greatness and legend really is ( transending through generations). When that micro moment happens, I.m all goosepumpy with you Ray

Hi Ray, 2 short informations: For this production they use the studio audio and the live video. The original live audio sounds a little bit different. Second, Helene Fischer is the most successfull german female singer.
There are a couple of songs with Elvis and Celine. I think that she is the female Elvis the way she sings and belts out songs like Elvis did and she also pays tribute to him,. Sadly she has some disease and is unable to sing now but is trying to make a come back.

I tend to agree with you. I understand where Ray is coming from when he says that as long as Elvis and his music are being promoted, it doesn't matter to him. However, artists nowadays, if they want to edit themselves into an Elvis performance, by all means, do so, but try not to sing above him, drowning out his beautiful vocals. That to me seems like the artist is more intent on promoting themselves, and using Elvis as their backup singer when they sing at the same time. Keep the vocals on the same level as Elvis or give the King the spotlight he deserves and promote HIM. When Lisa Marie sings duets with Elvis, she doesn't scream above this vocals. Helene Fischer has a beautiful voice, but I'm sorry, her vocals here when she sings with Elvis, are a little too much, volume wise. Having said that, I am grateful to artists of today, keeping Elvis and his music alive and potentially introducing the younger generation to him...and I love this channel and Ray's Elvis reactions are by far my favorite of all reactors I'm subscribed to on UA-cam. Oh Ray, thought you may be interested to know. I sent in 4 questions for Billy Smith (Elvis' Cousin) and 2 days ago, he did a video and answered all 4 of my questions. I thought you may be interested to know that one of my questions was about Elvis' pain. I wanted to know if he was in pain his whole life or if his pain was only near the end of his life. He said that he assumes I got that info from the book "Destined To Die Young", and he said that Elvis was not in any pain during his childhood, or while growing up, but later in his life, like other members of his family, he did experience some pain, not all the time, but basically on and off. AI versions of Elvis is nothing like him. you can tell a big difference and for those up and coming new EP fans may not can tell the difference and they miss the stage presence, the charisma, etc.and it is a shame that they will not get to experience Elvis, bc there is a big difference. There is only one Elvis and no AI can capture his essence, it cannot capture the person he is. AI cannot get close to his voice, it can not duplicate his vibrato. AI and auto tune cannot come close to touching him.
Another cool duet is on the first posthumous album that went to no 1 in the uk with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, “ If I can Dream”. It is the song”Fever” with Michael Buble singing with Elvis. So cool. Elvis himself would be proud that, even decades after his death, people still revere him and want to hear him sing, with modern day stars stepping up to do duets. 👌💕🕺

AI versions of Elvis is nothing like him. you can tell a big difference and for those up and coming new EP fans may not can tell the difference and they miss the stage presence, the charisma, etc.and it is a shame that they will not get to experience Elvis, bc there is a big difference. There is only one Elvis and no AI can capture his essence, it cannot capture the person he is. AI cannot get close to his voice, it can not duplicate his vibrato. AI and auto tune cannot come close to touching him.

Another cool duet is on the first posthumous album that went to no 1 in the uk with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, “ If I can Dream”. It is the song”Fever” with Michael Buble singing with Elvis. So cool. Elvis himself would be proud that, even decades after his death, people still revere him and want to hear him sing, with modern day stars stepping up to do duets. 👌💕🕺

So beautiful in white. Say what you want about Priscilla, but she and Elvis were connected in a forever kind of way. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Even after going separate ways, that connection, that love, those emotions, are still there and I think, at least I hope, they will be until the day she is laid to rest.
