@@joshuar56 I’ll take a batrep with this production value and editing , beautiful models and scenery, and entertaining and enthusiastic players over a couple rules lawyers grinding out a “sit back and shoot” game any day
Let me just start with just how great everything looks! The battlemap looks amazing! The minis? Amazing! Just everything looks so cool! However, I did see you guys make some mistakes and wanted to correct you. Units with Scout, move when you deploy them on the battlefield. In the first shot (AT-ST against AT-RT) you rolled two surges, not crits. And because the AT-ST does not have surge to hit/crit those would count as blanks. The AT-ST mortar has suppressive, so those rebel troopers at 6:34 would have two suppression tokens on them after that attack. The troopers at 8:43 would have rolled off their suppresion, because a surge or a shield rolls off suppression Aim tokens allow you to reroll 2 dice (I think you put that in the video already, but you also made that mastake a few times so I just wanted to put that in) At 23:12, the stormtrooper unit the GAV tank is going over would have been displaced, moving them and giving them a suppression token. This was an awesome battle report, and I can't wait to see more Star Wars Legion from you guys!
Finally a game I can say "well actually" on mistakes throughout the game!! To throw in a star wars quote in celebration for the channels first Star Wars Legion video, I've been looking forward for this!

Me gets him, me gets him. I think Rogue One is one of the worst, although it's around Star Wars 1 and Awakens, I think 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are the best and better than Rogue One easily.
Holy bleep this setup is phenomenal! I've not seen one like this. Wow. I'm Rogue One first and I can' imagine what other scenes from Star Wars you will create next, and hopefully people come to watch.
I think Legion could use mounted commander options. Like BARC mounted clone commander, Airspeeder pilot Luke, Obi-Wan on bike (yes from the miniseries)
It is great to see you bringing PlayOn's top quality battle reports to Star Wars -- this was an absolute delight to watch. I'm anxious for more, and keep up the good work!
Great to see more people starting to play this in batreps. Legion still has its issues with balance, particularly at the competitive bleeding edge, but there are certain things about the basic structure of the game that are just so much better thought out than the major GW systems. It's such a breath of fresh air to play your first game after having been used to a game like 40k for a long time. P.S. When you roll dice from the same unit all firing at the same target, you don't do weapons separately, you do it all in one pool, and any effect one weapon has applies to all the dice, which ends up being really important to the strategy of the game.
@@PlayOnTabletop Except for like, High Velocity. All the weapons in a attack pool have to have High Velocity for it to work, but the rest like Critical or Impact are applied to the entire pool.
Nick; here's a little trick for your Rebels - take Frag grenades and the Z-6 blaster. Unlike 40k, all models can opt to throw grenades if the squad is in range, and Frag Grenades give the entire attack pool Surge: Criticals. Every Frag is also a single red attack dice. The regular troops all throw Frags, while the Z6 Gatling gun shoots in the same pool. I've seen this combo surprise AT-STs about as well as having a Jedi charge them; because the surging crits helps sneak some damage past the armor.
This is one of the best battle reports that I've seen on UA-cam! Now I wanna play Legion! More loke this, please! Now, if you could also do X-Wing and Armada...
