Awesome pureness and beauty. Ana is just heavenly as she is one of my favorite models that Peter shoots. She is just prefection and creates some of the most beautiful shots that shine of the beauty worth and love of the beautiful of which she truly is. Truly Ana is one of the most beautiful women in the world and creates some of the most beautiful and heavenly shots. For when she shoots with Peter it's just pure magical beauty that radiants from her and the wonderfully beautiful shot of which they create in their shoots together. Just pure radiantly magical beauty that shines from the beautiful Ana. Thanks Ana and Peter (and Bec too) for another great and awesome shoot with the beautiful Ana.
Hi , I've just really enjoyed watching this, the way you work together is phenomenal. Loved the guitar shot at the end but also the seated shots cried out to me...Make this a cover shot for an album called Ana Fallen Angel. Best wishes to Ana , Bec , and The Maestro, Peter Coulson. Jake E.
you can see why your rated as a top pro, brilliant images relaxed model (Ana) and the images coming up on screen anyone would be proud to capture one never mind a whole set. thanks guys.
Many thanks for this new BTS video. @B: You look exquisite, as usual; I see that life is treating you well. Please, don’t forget to care yourself a lot. @A: Many thanks for posing in this session; you are amazing. Please, drive everyone crazy, on stage and in front of the cameras: you will have fulfilled your destiny. @J: I think you are giving a very good reference, by coming along with your partner to the photo session. I fully understand why you like guitars. The right hand, with the fingers, touching the strings; the vibration is transmitted to the right arm and shoulder; then to the collarbone and rib cage, that passes it to the left side: shoulder, arm, hand and fingers; these left fingers are also in contact with the same strings that are touched by the right fingers; therefore the circle has been closed: the vibration can freely travel circularly from side to the other side. Additionally, passing through the collarbone, it is transmitted vertically up an down through the backbone, arriving to the brain and to the lower extremities. From my point of view, strings instruments mean more than sound, it is also about the sense of touching, the magic that vibrations provide. @A&@J: Go for it and do not allow anyone to take from you what is yours! @P: You have the photo camera, you have the Model, you have the lights, you have the engine, … and the rain is out there, waiting for you to go out; what are you waiting for to go outside? BTW: thanks for the new photos in your blog.
With all his videos I think we have all learned his workflow from start to finish which is very helpful and if you ask me I could tell you about his way of working without thinking about it. as well as the way in which you make the model reflect the style that characterizes you. I always recommend watching your videos to girls who like modeling
love the creative edge! the rock N roll'r opens his guitar case 2 find this? super sexy model in pose with the most beautiful guitar! wow!! speechless!
Those hair flick shots looked amazing. How difficult is it to convince the tax department that your little leaf blower is a work related item? I'm always impressed seeing your studio set up, but some of the extras required is just a bit mind boggling.
Peter, the shots with the white tulle skirt are shit-hot! Did you make the skirt? Where can we find it? Also, someone earlier mentioned the guitar shots being Avedon-esque. Immediately upon seeing the guitar shots, my mind went straight to Kinski and the serpent. Amazing!
Another question, please: I know you emphasize eyes coming back to the camera, and I haven't watched all your videos (Yet), but haven't heard you mention catchlights.Everyone agrees how important catchlights are in creating life, sparkle in the eyes. Any tips/techniques on how to aim the light or train the model to get good relections in the eyes? I think there's a guy in the UK who suggests telling the model to look toward the light until they can see the inside of the softbox, but you want them to look into the camera at the same time.
Thanks again. Now I have to re-think everything! Still trust you, but everyone else says portraits look dead without that catch light!@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer
I know Peter's stance on not taking on an Assistant but what about taking on an Apprentice? I promise I won't help out with stuff. I'll leave it all up to you. If anything I may sabotage the shoot just to keep him on his toes lol
Really Ana's head is held up and Natasha's head is laying down, so anybody who lays naked on the ground with an object is ripping off that picture, www.artsy.net/artwork/richard-avedon-nastassja-kinski-and-the-serpent-los-angeles-california-june-14
you cannot photograph a guitar on the wrong side, it looks wrong and lots of people will focus on it because it's not on the right side and the text is upside down
I spotted the thumbnail of her with the guitar and immediately knew it was your shot. Your style is unmistakable.

The skirt was Ana's, yes it has that feel
Reminiscent of Nastassja Kinski and the Serpent by Richard Avedon. Really nice!
Hi Bec and Peter, could you tell
me the cordless blower you were using, that’s was cool.
Btw. Loving these videos. Learning a lot 🎉❤

Great video
Thanks!
First? Cool
"I'm using a 50mm lens at f5.6 at 400ISO ...... and at 25 horsepower on the leaf blower" :-)
Lol :)
As a guitar player, I'm curious as to why you/they chose to photograph the guitars upside-down.
The Model was more comfortable laying on that side, and she also likes Jimi Hendrix 😂
Can't argue with Hendrix@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer
What camera did you use?
Camera model: Hasselblad H6D-50c, all the gear we use is listed in the description
I know Peter's stance on not taking on an Assistant but what about taking on an Apprentice? I promise I won't help out with stuff. I'll leave it all up to you. If anything I may sabotage the shoot just to keep him on his toes lol
