I just finished the install of your jku cage with windshield v bars and x bar .. This is my second upgrade .. First was your aluminum tube fenders and liners .. Next is your bumpers and tire carrier .. Your products are worth the money .. Made In Usa !
A cage is only as good as the three point harness you use ! Being in the Fire/EMS service for decades. I've seen too many tragic results from rolling and no use of personal harnesses. Thanks for the info !
Tech: Talk about strong roll cage! Tech groupie: Yo dog you be my top tech! So I was confused; why y’all gotta front my whip all whipped. I thought I thought I saw there weren’t no roll cage there!
Curious as to why the b to c bars are angled (triangulated) but the a to b bars are parallel with the spreader bars? Wouldn't angled bars in the front be stronger?
Is there a good way to do the full cage in the 2 door JK but still be able to use the back seat? I want the strenght of the x and harness bare but still need to be able to use the back seat for the kids.
Could you guys make a video focusing on the JT platform for off-roading proposes hopefully without mentioning departure angle which everyone cries about. I don't believe most ppl have been modifying them correctly since they are doing pretty much the same they do in jku or any previous jeep platform. I would like to see what you guys will do to it to just make it work. Example I don't think the common lifts apply to these and the platform allows (more a must than allows) for taller lifts and tires just to start. Thanks guys for the info and products.
Not sure if this has been asked before, Sorry if it has. For a TJ with tons and 40" tires would you still use the 1-3/4 tubbing or do you also make a cage in 2" ? I'm just thinking of the added weight. Also a possibility of changing motor to a V8 in the future. Thanks.
You will be able to grab stuff in the back from the front seat but folding your seat forward to climb into the back wont work. It is much easier to climb over the tire and climb in from the side.
The lack of the tube down to the floor on the a pillar is the one thing that really stops that cage from being Ultra 4 legal. Such a shame. People are better off building a front cage tie in from the factory B pillar main hoop which is 2.5” x .120” tubing, it’s actually stronger than what y’all are offering it just needs to be tied into the front and have some triangulation. The blatant false advertising here is horrible.
