it's rare when a movie doesn't give you a morally elevated person to root for, so instead, you have to pick the lesser of two evils...and then you get the turkey baster flashback and realize, there is no lesser evil.

That's not that bad tbh. The 1st girl killed his daughter. The 2nd broke in his house and stole his money. Not saying either girl deserved that but he was willing to send them on after giving him a kid.

I never watched breaking bad so don't know much about Walter, Batman IS also morally elevated, he doesn't generally go for innocent people, and tries not to kill them, and Loki.... Well the Loki series proved Loki has morals... and a heart. Far cry from a man forcibly injecting his semen into a tortured, abused and unwilling woman, regardless of what that woman done.

It's amazing that Stephen Lang (The Blind Man) is in such great shape at the age of 67-68, which is what he was during the filming of this.

Stephen Lang is “The Blind Guy” and he is an amazing character actor, it’s rare that he gets significant or leading roles, which is a shame. He’s probably most known for his role in Avatar. Ok so since your into martial arts, and quoted “dig in that hold” I’m wondering if you’ve seen Warrior? It’s a phenomenal film, not horror, but still think you’d enjoy it. Thx for the share!💚

I hope he's alive too, (the blind guy is played by Stephen Lang) and the little girl Phoenix was pled by (Madelyn Grace). This vibe was slightly different because he was concentrating on teaching & protecting the little girl. In the first one we thought he was only trying to protect his home & money, till we discover who is in the house with him. But they were both edge of your seat good!!!!

What I loved about this movie on first watch is not really knowing who to root for.
I mean, we kinda have to root for whoever keeps the little girl alive.

So supposedly there is a part 3 coming. The actor who plays the blind man, Stephen Lang, stated in an interview that he enjoyed playing the blind man and will enjoy filming again in part 3. So sounds like it's in the works

I don’t know if this is weird for me to say, but Nikki’s reaction to anything involving kids in movies makes me almost cry. I am currently 16 and, when I was 14, I had to make the choice to move out of my mother’s house. It just makes me so happy to see someone care for any child that way compared to how I grew up. Don’t get me wrong, I have a wonderful step mother and father who I couldn’t be happier with, they are the most caring people I’ve ever met and I love them with my whole heart. But stuff involving mothers always pulls my heart strings. Thank you guys for being just wonderful human beings, I will keep being a fan in the future! I love all your content.

Funny thing is, in the first amazing Spider-Man movie, Peter did a more pg thing of the superglue thing. He webbed up the thugs mouth and nose when he was hunting down his uncles killer, and stood there for a while before poking holes where the guys nose were so that he could breathe
Pitch meeting room: The first movie made a lot of money so it's only right we make another, but this time we make the blind man the hero but since we already showed him being a murderer, kidnapper, and 🍇ist we have to make the new bad guys worse by doing drugs, killing dogs, and killing children. If we have a scene where the blind man SAVES a dog that automatically makes him good.

Great reaction! 👍🏾I really enjoyed the Don’t Breathe films too. Stephen Lang is such an underrated actor. His performance is especially intense as the blind man in Don’t Breathe 1 and 2, whose name apparently is Norman Nordstrom.
Check out Manhunter (1986), the prequel to The Silence of the Lambs (1991), and later remade as Red Dragon (2002), if you’re interested in seeing Stephen Lang in his younger day play an obnoxious tabloid reporter. He’s very memorable in that role too and the film is definitely worth watching. Scary and suspenseful.

Yes lets also forget that he ACCIDENTALLY killed her, just like she ACCIDENTALLY killed his daughter. Of the two he's worse, not only did he accidentally kill her, but he put her in that position himself AND raped her. Any object insertion against someone's will is rape. You're sympathising with a rapist.
I think this would have worked better as a prequel but it's still pretty good.

Stephen Lang is *SO* incredibly underrated. If you enjoy martial arts series, then definitely check him out in "Into the Badlands" also "Conan the Barbarian" ( the newer one with Jason Momoa.) Enjoyed you guys' reaction so much!

I agree it's not the dogs fault his owner is an asshole, but it was almost his life otherwise line. As much as I love animals, I can't see letting an aggravated dog chew up on me; and possibly kill me.

In both movies he kills to protect what he considers "HIS" (surrogate daughter) the character doesn't really "CHANGE" it's our perception of him that does. It's like when HANNIBAL LECTER kills to save CLARICE or WILL GRAHAM in the TV show or kills the MASON VERGER'S goons or even other SERIAL KILLERS it doesn't make him DEXTER he still who he is, it just makes it more acceptable to the audience because now he isn't just any VILLAIN but OUR VILLAIN and instrumental to the real HEROES salvation.
