That is why The Purge is such a good series - not just the movies but the TV series as well. The whole series tells a story from different perspectives and from that the whole story is painted about who was behind it, how this concept was developed and deployed, the consequences to society (from all sides) and to the human psyche - And some of the questions and concepts you proposed are addressed in the various movies...how people profit off of it. The 'clean up' afterward. The hospitals (which are closed during the purge) and how medical care exists during purge time. The conspiracies the arise as a result. The rise of the resistance movement. The government that has to try to keep this going despite all this.... And if you guys just like the popcorn aspect of the traps and the f'd up methods people go to on purge night, you GOTTA check out The Purge TV series! That's REALLY messed up! Fun fact because I know you guys liked this show too...but the scene in the apartment with the family, the cheating husband in the army fatigue played Ratboy in Sons of Anarchy. AND the "leader" of the crew that was snatching people up in the taco truck also played in Get Out
Gotta say, the creators really amped up their game this time. The only thing I would add is we needed a better connect to the people so we can buy into their fear. Dial down all the action and give us a tighter plot so we feel what they feel. I loved the reckoning those rich clowns got. Karma is a wonderful thing.
The expressions on Nikki & Steven's faces when watching this movie was more than enough payment for witnessing their reactions. I can't wait to see you guys react to the third installment Election Year. lol😂

I know they’re talking about Jon Bernthal would’ve been great in this but Frank Grillo was made for this role dude is a straight bad ass who’s also rough around the edges being from the Bronx but also growing up with a fighting background. Dude is a savage and was made for this role
I love this series because it’s so not subtle about its politics. I mean, this film focuses on a poor, struggling, nonwhite family and the villains are literally the rich white privileged people. The third movie focuses on a very Bernie Sanders-esque politician who’s targeted because of her plan to end the purge. Their “Election Year” posters featured red “Make America Purge Again” hats! And when people complained about how unrealistic it was that everyone jumped to murder, they made The First Purge to show that no one actually *did* want to murder, so the government sent in convicted murderers to start the violence. These movies really highlight how the rich target poor and marginalized people.
There were a lot of silly aspects to this movie that I've noticed. The funniest one in particular was when the boyfriend died, the person that killed him randomly just opened a door and just shot the boyfriend multiple times instead of panning his shots across the whole group of main characters and calling it a day. The boyfriend was dumb and unlucky lmao
When she's like "You're all terrible shots" and then someone golden bb hits the armored vehicle and it flips and explodes I thought "But the PLOT has EXCELLENT aim lol, don't get in IT'S way!"
The main actor who played Leo was fantastic in this film I think this film is best one out of all of them. Mainly because of the story between the two girls and Leo especially the ending made me cry. When Leo says you took my boy man I cried what a actor x

Everyone keeps focusing on killing, but yes, it seems all crimes lessor than murder are also permitted, so there would all sorts of horrible non-fatal things happening, at large scale probably. What if I want to purge by boosting a Ferrari, downing vodka, and driving at high speed on the interstate? If I'm meaning to kill people that's totally fine I'd think. It's not logical that it's perfectly fine to murder my neighbor, but oh no don't dismember them for example. Shoot someone in the face, good, great purging, but doing a burglary, tisk tisk, no, not allowed. They could make 100 purge movies if they wanted.
I think the Purge franchise was so terrifying because we all know that there’s mentally ill people out there that would actually not be opposed to murdering and torturing people if this was an actual thing. There are literally monsters living among us waiting for their chance to actually purge 😢
You think small, remember ALL crime is allowed, UP TO and including murder...you'd have gangs of rapists, robbers, heists, it would basically be GTA5 online with 350 million players, yeah, that bad, and plus government sanctioned 'hackers' with Gucci-exotic weapons and INTEL and access which is priceless.
Nikki jumped right out of her skin and almost into Steven's at the beginning.😂 My favorite reactions from you guys is horror. The weapon on the tripod in the back of the truck is a minigun. It fires conventional bullets, just at a very high rate. A railgun uses electromagnetism to fire a solid metal slug. As of today, railguns are still mostly theoretical. Yes, working models have been built, but none of them have risen to the level of a practical design. Also, while I know it's fiction, railguns usually aren't depicted as being able to fire that fast. Typically, railguns are depicted as a slow, but powerful weapon.
34:15, Steven, in this version of a dystopian United States, the new founding fathers would have already made sure that if you left before The Purge, you would lose all your property rights upon return to the US.

the bonk sound effect yall use gets me every time LOL
The forth one is my favorite of the series. I can't wait to watch the reaction to it!
From the start with the 2023 reaction this was great! 😂
The DoorDash for Purge put me on the floor I was dead Lmaoo😂😂 (no pun intended)
0:10 I'm actually on the complete opposite. 😅 I didn't enjoy the first one (got really annoyed by the characters), however I did enjoy this one.
"The Door Dash of purging." I was thinking something like Splurge Purge.
41:20 "Big Papa" HAHAHAHAHAA
Love You Guys For This Reaction Timing
Best Sequel Ever & As Always Love Seeing Your Reactions 😊
34:15, Steven, in this version of a dystopian United States, the new founding fathers would have already made sure that if you left before The Purge, you would lose all your property rights upon return to the US.
