- Who wins in a fight? Khabib Nurmagomedov or Israel Adesanya?
Rising UFC Bantamweight Umar Nurmagomedov made a strong claim during his recent Russian language interview with Igor Lazorin with Octagon TV Inc. Umar said that his cousin and UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov could defeat the current UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya in a mixed martial arts fight. This is a bold statement as Adesanya competes at a weight class 30 pounds higher than the former undefeated UFC Lightweight Champion Nurmagomedov.

Yeah I mean it would be Khabibs crazy strength combined with his elite wrestling, explosive takedowns, and super fast transitions. If he got an armbar or triangle choke it would be all over.

@@sambosays9799 yea I know khabib only fights in lightweight... but now he weighs around 200+ pounds.... he can win if he takes him down🤷♂️
@@RiyazRahoof That is true but he isn't at his athletic peak at 200+ pounds. Perhaps if they met at around 175 pounds it would be closer but at the heavier weights Khabib would be outside of his best condition.
