Before people get confused -- it's on Playstation as well. It's just that Microsoft has a marketing deal with Sega on Persona and a very few MegaTen games (not SMT as that's still exclusively Nintendo or Soul Hackers 2 which was promoted heavily by PlayStation)
I'm not sure why anyone would be confused? Releasing an exclusive JRPG on Xbox would be suicide.

@@onidub Mainline SMT? Yeah it seems so. Nocturne was the last game to be ported on any other console. IV and IV Apocalypse, along with Strange Journey and another one that escapes me, were all on the 3DS
@@LowResLeafaidk man reportedly Atlus' GamePass releases have surprised them as to how well they went and since Windows releases are always part of microsoft deals they'd be doing fine for sure

This looks like a cozy game to keep me occupied for a long time next fall. 2024 really is gonna be the year of Japanese rpgs. Yakuza, Dragon's Dogma, Final Fantasy and this. Plus hopefully ELden Ring dlc.

Why did you said that? This game don't have any "tactics" gimmicks, for the contrary, they implemented some weird "musou" gameplay at 0:28 If you mentioned Fire Emblem because of the "social" interactions, that is a thing on Persona since forever
Social sim is not on persona, it basically the director katsura hashino's thing the director who made p3 and 4 and 5 and now he is making this game, 1 and 2 doesn't have any of that because he didn't make them @@RRRRRRRRR33

Maybe if the enemies is too weak for your level, you instakill them to save time

It seem Atlus in the last few years just realised making SMT especially the non mainline one exclusive to one console isn't the smartest idea
They should port everything for PC and the current consoles, they are losing revenue for no reason. Atlus has potential to grow and eventually surpass Square, they have the superior talent by far... but they just can't fully capitalize

ATLUS should really give some love and attention to the Trauma Center series. They could do a remaster of the 5 games on Switch plus a new game with the fraction of the budget of this one.

The game is multi-console; it will also be on PS5 and PS4. It seems that Microsoft has a contract with Sega to only promote it with the XBOX brands.

If only they could do a better job with the graphics. Particularly the anti-aliasing and how the models stick out from the environments. Everything else looks fire.
Atlus has always focused on their art direction covering for their lack of graphical prowess. It's been that way since SMT: Nocturne, and it's not likely to change anytime soon because it helps to keep costs under control.
P5 looked fine though and Shin Megami IV as well. Art direction with cell shading losses a lot of it's impact if it looks cheap. @@daevious_
Take the bright side, at least any PC could run this game (like the RX 580 owners, this 7 years old GPU can survive even Baldur's Gate 3, it's impressive)

@@OnMyLunchBreak07 my introduction to atlas was Babylon fall... a non existent game, so quickly. Though shin megami v looked ok, no pc. Though Vanquish and bayonetta are ok.
@@sagepirotess6312 Atlus made none of those games except for Shin Megami Tensei 5 lol. Babylon, vanquish, and bayonetta are all made by platinum games. Platinum has nothing to do with Atlus.
Babylons fall was also published by Square Enix, dragon quest's maker, so blame them for that one. That also means you've had no introduction to atlus and are just calling this game lame with no prior experience with their catalog.
