We loved this as kids watched it over and over with my brother and other siblings . Miss the old days and my bro he is no longer with us.

I must have had watch at least both movies 25 times back then. I should have got tired of them I didn't. Also remember back when television was great and they use of play all kind of movies, especially the ones that we loved and enjoyed watching. Well whatever happened to that.every Saturday and Sunday afternoons on the television, we're jam-packed with movies back then.
They still do movies but they're not worth it today. Want the old school stuff, the way it use too be. Now they were the good old days. Great memories and great times

For my age.. The Disney one was good.. But the original movies are always the Best.. But Disney's isn't that bad.. It might be bad for you that you are older but for my age its a good movie

It’s not just movies but movie trailers that today’s content are nothing compared to what there was back then. When I view one of these trailers from the 80s I easily get the sensation THIS IS LIVING! Today’s films along with all their content don’t even evoke the slightest comparable feeling within.

I knew about this version before the 2016 one came out. I haven't watched the new one, but I will always prefer the 80s and 90s. They rocked the house.

Yes. The thing I like most about older movies, is that they were more family oriented. Any family movie today is specifically aimed for kids, and I find most adult movies plain silly. These older ones did them right.

I wish I was an 80s baby sometimes. I was born in '95. But...thankfully my mom exposed me and my sisters to all these classics.
I was born in '76 so I got the full '80s experience. Old enough to remember it but young enough not to have any blackouts. Nothing can beat it. And, yeah, we did have computers, just a little more primitive but we didn't know it. They were still almost good enough to start thermonuclear war.

Was looking at films that was release on my birth year and aside from the big films like Robocop and Predator, this one caught my eyes cos I never seen it! Being an 80's kid, they sorta bring some nostaglia to me!
I'm 37. Born in 1986 grew up in the 1990's and I LOVE this movie. One of my top ten favorites growing up. I was walking out of work the other day to get in my truck and someone had Sam Cooke blasting and instantly reminded me of this movie. I don't know why, but when I see Elisabeth Shue I cant help but think to myself she looks like Elizabeth Banks. They look so similar, IMO...

I have always loved this movie. But, today, I am here for a strange reason. The world is small. I was watching a documentary on traveling cinema in the Kurdish refugee camps. They were projecting Charlie Chaplin's Kid. I wondered when the actor who played the child, Jackie Coogan died. He had children, then grandchildren. And one of them is in this movie, Keith Coogan playing Brad. I didn't know that. So, grandfather and grandson played babysit children 60 years apart. The world is really small and mischievous.😊
So many good scenes. All the actors are great. This movie stands the test of time and should have won an academy award. The only part I don't like is the scene when Sarah is on the side of the building - it makes me anxious....
