Even in a better way by subtle acting also. He too displayed pleasant looks. Also, contrary to the common myth, he only proved to be a deserving person for 'Romance King' title also than Gemini. Many a time, i heard yester-year youngsters including ladies uttering these words while watching Sivaji in love scenes, while mainly he was the role model for an affectionate brother for ladies. Even by remaining at a distance, he can express deep love. Pl view the film இரும்புத்திரை (1 song and 2 love scenes through dialogues and subtle expressions) just as an example. If you observe with open mind without any bias/pre-conceived notions, certainly you will realise this. He too portrayed many soft roles. Truly he is a repository and total combination of different kinds of actors rolled into himself. This is not an exaggeration. I am in no way defaming Gemini uncle or others. They travelled on their own paths. But as and when needed, Sivaji sir took the vehicle key from Gemini uncle and drove more efficiently and more smoothy on the accustomed roads of Gemini uncle also, in my humble opinion. Regards. V. @@vgiriprasad7212 Sir, There is no doubt at all that Sivaji was a better performer than Gemini or MGR or for that matter any other actor during their era in India. It is the pleasing, non theatrical performance of Gemini that attracted many and that includes me. Taste differ! thank god for that, otherwise it would be a boring world to live and we would not be conversing. MGR had more fans than Sivaji or Gemini and his fans would bet that MGR was more handsome than Gemini or Sivaji. As you mentioned Sivaji could do romantic roles too with ease but still it was Gemini who the ladies man. Thanks and Cheers!
