- Do you guys love street food as much as I do? Whenever we travel, I'm looking for the most authentic street food for the area. We found some street food vendors at Navarro Park in Quito, where we got a chance to try some Tripas, which is tripe or intestines. Also we got some empanadas, fried pork and donuts.

Thanks!!! I'm moving to EC '23, having hard time deciding where....were there many street dogs , Carolina park? areas you hung out ? (bringing my two 45# dogs) My EC Map doesnt show detail....Where is Carolina Park located in EC ? north?
Thanks for watching. La Carolina Park is in Quito, and is centrally located in the city. In Ecuador there are street dogs. Also we've seen places where they have dog parks as well.
The tripe have a good flavor but it’s too chewy 🥴 it never dissolved in ur mouth 😅 hot sauce in quito o a la sierra it’s delicious 🤤👌 empanada de morocho always needs that hot sauce 👌
The sad part is to see all those stray cats and dogs!!

It is parque Navarro but is more commonly know as "Parque de las Tripas", is in the oriental part of Quito at the entrance of Guapulo (the "Via de los Conquistadores") and close to Coliseo Rumiñahui, the food stands open in the late afternon during weekdays.
Tbh I live in Quito and the last time I was at that park, food was average at best…. There are many places with good food, sadly that park lives solely by its old fame

So I can recommend Carolina Park, they have a lot of food vendors and the park is really pretty. Also you can check out Central Market to try more authentic Ecuadorian foods. Check out my other videos in Ecuador to give you an idea of those two locations.
