The amount of work that goes into these videos, especially on a DIY budget, is nuts.
Its great. Its pop? Its rock? Its metal its industrial? Doesn't matter.
Its awesome!!
Alot of their music is dance-hall, metal, punk and even a 'lil bit of Pop in there too. It's sounds amazing.

I think Sever's idea for this one was just to have as many costumes for herself as possible.

Another great video. All their videos are pretty phenomenal (action packed, bombard you with color/visuals) - Knowing they do these themselves is even more impressive. Fingers crossed for some "Behind The Scenes" footage on this one.
Most of the behind the scenes will consist of several hundred hrs of Skye sitting in front of a computer lol.
Initiation just might make my top ten albums of the year list.

I was thinking the exact same thing as I watched it....that I love her mind.
This was the first song I heard of these guys and after listening to everthing else it still is my favorite. I'm loving the evolution of the band and as far as i can tell this song is pretty recent. The groove of the band, the heavieness just get seems to get heavier and Sky's (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) vocals just seem to get more and more diverse and even her screams sound more brutal than ever on this song. The breakdown on this song kicks so much arse, those riffs are killer, it never gets old. Cheers from Australia.
Somehow I tripped in the Undefeated video. It was okay back then. But secretly slipped in my mind, forcing me to hum it. Listened to it again. Wow amazing. Totally stuck in my mind. Now I just watched my playlist and Cyco after Cyco... Long story short, I'm in love. Thank you so much for bringing a new color in my music palette. And keep up the good work! Another awesome song from Sumo Cyco, and another weirdly wonderful music video to go along with it 😁 This band deserve way more recognition, they do everything themselves and put all their time and effort into everything they create, and are so passionate about making music and having fun, which is a lot more than most bands these days

As a color blind person, I loved the visuals. I could see all the colors and and tell them apart. Love all the wildly different makeups and hair. Great song too. You are the driving force behind the newest branch to appear on the Great Tree of Metal: pop/punk metal, and it's good stuff.

I find Skye to be one of the most fascinating musicians of recent memory. She was on the rise as a pop musician and could have honestly been much bigger had she stayed the course... Yet she chose to say fuck it all and dive head first into metal. There's something to be respected there... Following your passions instead of the money.
You could get both by following the money and then your passions once you have secured your future… not much to be respected when people can’t even focus fully on their passion or can’t even have their passion how they want it, because they have to do side gigs or jobs just to make ends meet.
Also, it’s never a guarantee to make it in any industry and especially in the music industry. Rise? You need like consecutive explosions of fame to make it anywhere where it’s that profitable to do this.
And let’s be honest here, it’s unlikely she would ever get there.
only people who have nothing to lose will say “fuck it, and give up everything they have worked for, just to do it all again.” that’s not respectable, that’s pitiful.
And it’s unlikely she was one of those people, so I guess she had or has something to fall back on.
