Confinement is less necessary. With high quality. Of course you know this. This was for newb builders. I have literally poured mix on the ground, and it goes faster than average chinese salute cheap al . If I cover that same pile with a standard piece of copier paper , and just dampen the edges so it conforms to the concrete. Much different result. Thanks for all that you do. ❤Luci
Instead of doing the hot glue way to coat it all around for the end caps, use a q tip, it’s faster and easier so you won’t have to go all around and maybe having some issues getting some glue coated
@@user-bl7hi1dv1f In EU/US we have thin paper/plastic end plugs sold at every pyro supply shop that sells paper tubes. Paper end discs can be purchased at woodysrocks and cannonfuse. But woodys has a wider selection with 1/16 or 1/8 thick discs. They come with or without holes of your choosing. If you want holes smaller than 1/4", you have to ask them in the directions box.
Hey man, Just curious...does the 10890 just give a deeper report? I'm assuming that its less reactive then a 3 mic India blackhead or Eckhart 5413 etc so the comp is slightly slower? Great video btw and the craftsmanship on this salute is superb.
@bryanmoore3051 you get more light output due to larger particle size and I think more smoke as well. As for tone, I'm not so sure if it makes anything deeper. I'll be conducting more flash experiments once I have the chance.
@@RunningMan40510Do you think the addition of sulfur to a kclo4/AL flash deepens the report at all? I feel like 70/30 gives a higher pitched crack depending on confinement and even then I feel like a little slower comp would "deepen" the report.
@bryanmoore3051 Yes. Sulfur helps a lot, but once you get above 30 grams it doesn't add anymore thump or at least not as much as you'd expect, which is why the formula has to change from kclo4/al/s to a TPA or Blue Al based flash. TNM will give excellent results but is not yet available to the general public without a license.
Thanks. Hot glue fn hurts to get hit with. Esp some brands driy really hard.arrow from home depot for example. Sure bond is pretty flexible. Still would hurt
Hmm, I just use the push in, red plastic end caps and no glue at all. Works just fine and it’s the fastest and easiest thing to do. Tested against glued in end caps and there is no audible difference.

Sorry for soamy comments but your eye for detail is rare in this hobby. I love the look of space on top where fuse goes.
Nice man super clean tutorial one of the best by far 😁💪🔥💣💥🤘
Very nice. Very safe way. I use this plastic plugs. Your way is better for the environment.
why tf would u use plastic plugs?? thats just a fragmentation bomb
@@user-bl7hi1dv1f aa comon, using hot glue is a crazy danger . These plastic plugs are not even 2mm thick
@@donflobert1762 Now he knows.
@@donflobert1762 ahh okay good, i've seen many people using fx bottle caps n shit for firecrackers and its just so dumb lol

Have you experimented with not compressing the comp and leaving a little room in the tube?
We all have and it sucks.
More weight= stronger .doesn't have anything to do with airspace ,I don't think with fp
You can leave airspace when working with blue thunder. That mix booms regardless.

@cfuzzkennedy
HOTMELT
Pros: nostalgic, asthetically pleasing, and waterproof
Cons: projectiles.
@cfuzzkennedy Hot glue prevents flash leaks while keeping the flash air tight preventing degradation.

Correction. 2.5”x1” tubes
@cfuzzkennedy exotic mixtures do have the potential to degrade with time but if you're using plain 70:30 it won't matter so much.
