    Are you using it in AF or MF?

      In MF. It looks kind of weird because the lens isnt really parfocal itself, it just has a compensation mechanism that try to keep to focal point in place. Not perfect but close imo

      @@fotopolis interesting...so that means that, even in MF mode, it will electronically do "micro adjustments" to the focus motor, correct? I'm very curious to see how a lens like this would pair with a camera that has an active E-mount but bad AF, like a older A7S II or even the original A7S. Because I wonder how much of this "compensation" is determined by the cameras AF

      It is not. It has a conpensation mechanism to keep the focus point in place hence the inperfections. But It’s usable
