Vegas used to be a gambling city. Now they want to cater to younger party crowd riddled with credit card debt rather than older crowd that gambles with cash.
@@ghostbansurvivor6229the older crowd is boring and too conservative. We need these young idiots to support our economy here. Gamble responsibly kids 😂😂
I have been to both places. They are very different in Macau people spend a lot more time inside the casinos than having fun on the streets. Las Vegas is definitely a better nightlife and more entertaining generally.
@@thekingminn There's some unique history and gaming but from what I saw the Chinese don't seem particularly interested in preserving it. Everything since the 1970s seems to be a cheap imitation of Las Vegas and the results are atrocious.
Doesnt it work in this frame? As the Video in in English it caters more to the West world as the East. So one could argue, Versed viewers know more of the West world, than the east. Atleast i do, thats for sure.
Yes, because there's no value in an English language video with a primarily English speaking audience referencing something to a worldwide cultural icon found in the English speaking superpower. That won't help the English speaking audience connect to the non-English place at all. Feel good about your "adjective noun-ism" critique!! You win. 🥇
Asians just love to gamble. And most of the people there are there to gamble. Vegas has become more of a city for nightlife, fine dining, clubbing and charging exorbitant prices and fees on everything. It really isn't that great of a place to gamble anymore with 6:5 blackjack and triple zero roulette unless you are gambling big money. The odds the average tourist is given are lousy and they are starting to get priced out at least on the strip. America also has many other options for gambling and Asia doesn't have that many other options at least in a legal casino environment.
From what ive heard macau casinos r suffering serious financial problems as Xi is putting his foot down on the wealthy govt officials and the elite gambling and now casino profits r down ...and macau needs to look into diversifing its operations so its sole source of income isnt gambling revenue
Fist, I have no sympathy for struggling gambling businesses. If Chinese Gov can bring "the most lawless 6 sq.m on earth (WSJ)" to current situation, I could only wish that they take over Chicago south side. Gambling culture has to go like any other destructive cultures (like race based organization, superstition, guilt/pride by assosiation, etc).
You got it twisted. Start Gambling. Gambling is entertainment. You will win, you will break even. You will do both and improve your life. Do you understand? Out of $4 million of bets, I made $7 million.
Paradise/Las Vegas casinos are still better than Macau. the only thing why Macau out earns Paradise/Las Vegas is because majority of its gamblers are from Mainland where gambling is legally impossible
@BDortmund1 "The Cockroach" is the ugliest building I've ever seen. The whole place reeks of mediocrity as do the tiresome attempts here to make it sound magnificent.
I’m sorry but Las Vegas looks wayyyy better in movies and besides, a $5 steak, eggs, bacon, and toast plate available 24/7 only exists is Las Vegas baby. Even the word Macau sounds like kaka, not appealing at all 😂

Macau is on my digital nomad city list.😊
What a stupid term “digital nomad” 😂
Welcome anytime! We need more foreigners to visit :D
The minimum bets are waaaaaay too high for the common folks. Lots of lives getting wrecked in record speed
macau was older than las vegas.
It's more accurate to call Las Vegas the Macau of America.
SINGAPORE 😎Hey Guys, what about Marina Bay Sands ❓️
Nope.
There is no one country two systems for Las Vegas. So no.
@@ting2222 That don't matter. The fact that Macau is a way larger and older Casino city still stands.

US defaultism at work here. Las Vegas is not the world's default gambling city!

Lol American casino giants MGM,LV SANDS,WYNN Resorts invested billions in building Macau.
The 2008 crash crushed Vegas and Nevada.

Las Vegas is the Macau of North America
uh no. Las vegas is much more than gambling. macau really isnt
Also Las Vegas is not "ring-fenced" from the rest of America the way Macau is from Mainland China.
How is Las Vegas trying to be Macau? That's should be the question.
macau isn't that nice just came from there.
If versed like this I will go ro study and stop gambling
