The last 2 minutes are just a black screen with music.. And I'm bothered by the in- and out zooming while the camera is on you. The rest is OK 😊 So, 6/10.
Not very good! You left in two takes of the same point at 7:48 and 7:57, and from 10:14 is blank plus there is no link to the video that you recommend!
I'd give them a 3 or 4. The white balance is way off, there were several times when you pointed to other videos to follow up for more information and they didn't pop up, the obvious 2 mins of black screen and two clips stated and restated the same point. As an added, you may want to separate your camera from your desk. A bit shaky.

I was a little nervous to watch this one bc of the title, but I'm glad I did. lol. This was a really great video. It helped to confirm I'm on the right track, and that putting all this effort into my Etsy store will be worth it. After studying several of the top sellers in my niche, I'm taking the volume approach while keeping the quality high. My current goal is 1,000 products by the end of December, and so far I'm at 218. Following your other vids, I've already gotten sales and a 5-star review with only 218 products. I can't wait to see it all increase when I finally hit my first 1,000. Looking forward to your next video 🤙
@@draugh1r219 I haven’t done ads yet but I do add videos to my listings. Some are done in Premiere Pro and others are done in Photoshop. Depending on product.
@Egbon Roughly about 10 per day. Although I really do my listings on a weekly basis. Typically on Saturday or Sunday. The rest of the week is all research, design, and prep work. Which takes far more time than I had anticipated. lol.
Editing mistake? At 7:50 you repeat the same sentence twice. And yes, it doesn't seem like the video ended in the right place. Sounded like you were leading up to a final punch line.
That really helped thankyou. I must admit, I am more on the creative end of the spectrum, and I really like to make the designs myself, and I am ok with the waiting part for that. I don't really like using A.I. only because, for me, it takes the "fun" out of the art and design process.
I've been watching your 100K challenge. I think you are glossing over the financial investment a bit. 20 cents a listing doesn't sound like much but listing 30 items a day is 6$ a day, 5 days a week is 30$ a week for 150 items. At what point could you level off? 1K listings? 5K listings?
As I have understood... It is a question that help to drive the video further. Taking into consideration that for Print on Demand (POD) model we use AI art. In another words POD is a creative business model. Also, "The end of AI" - this question makes sense in relation to another question, If nowadays is so easy to make AI art why might be difficult to run a business successfully enought? Therefore, because it is important to consider some questions and some steps to follow as explained by Alek. What do you think about it?
I began 6 months ago and I am at about 3500 dollars monthly. Average sale value is 50 dollars. I prefer to sell more expensive stuff. it is crazy hard work though
Hello Alek! Thank you for the video. You’ve said 3-6 months before seeing good results - could you share which results did you have during these 3-6 first months? 😊
Im in my 6 months seriusly doing POD almost 300 listings, I just start having some sales (13) and lately lots of "favorited" but no one buys anything I wish someone like you give me an opinion of my store🙏
I'm happy I started pod and I have my store. I was nervous but I still fighting to make my dreams come true! Thanks for this bro. I would also like to hear about your experience with awkward styles or Gooten. Thanks a lot!
Guys I'm so confused. Even if I would make 100k in sales a year, which is insane, and even if my profit margin was 50% which is also huge, I would only get 50k and then the taxes take 50% more, so 25k a year, 2k net profit a month... Sounds pretty lame for a 6 figure business 😂 So when people say they make 10k or 40k a month do they mean sales or net profit? O.o
Can you do a video step by step please? From the beginning? Is it only template and design you have to find ? What about t-shirt suppliers, is there any monthly fees?
Can you please make a complete videos playlist for beginners on starting POD business on ETSY describing each and every step to step process from zero to earning good amount?
Hi Alex, thank you for your videos, are inspiring. I have a question when you say $10k a month, I am wondering what is you net per sale because if your net is about $5-8 per sale you need to sell 1200-2000 a month. May you can do a video about pricing.
It sounds right up my alley and exactly what I need right now with my store opening again. Can you link the video that you’re talking about in the bio? Great video! 🎉
Hi Alex! Thank you very much about all your knowledge shared around POD! super helpful ;) studying around the topic I'm a bit worried about the tax topic.. seems all nice till you don't land on VAT, taxes etc. Being in EU I would need to pay VAT to prihtful and my customers would have to pay VAT to Etsy.. this will cut a lot my margins when I need to charge them about.. would be nice if you can share your knowledge around the topic and how you deal with orders from VAT countries
I was looking into this too. If there are POD sellers in the EU using printify and etsy and willing to share their experience that would be priceless. Meanwhile the solution might be to just sell to the US market, no VAT issues. If you google Printify VAT EU you will find an article that might clear things up for you. The article is called Winning European Union VAT Laws With Printify
You can sell in the US and you won’t have to pay for Printful VAT and also for the customers in the US VAT doesn’t apply. And you can get the taxes back at the end of financial year , at least in UK not sure how is it for other countries in Europe.
