MR SHEFFY man, thank you so much for posting #9. I'm a month in, 120 listings, 60 views, 31 visits, no sales. There's absolutely no way I'm gonna give up, I promised I'd give it a year. BUT really feeling frustrated… #9 has pulled me back on track. So many videos on how this can be done. So few outline how much patience is going to be necessary. So thanks for #9, its an important reminder, possibly THE most important. Cheers, keep on!
With the current financial and economic situation world wide, i strongly believe that as smart citizens we shouldn’t rely solely on our salaries, instead we should look for more innovative means to make money
# 9 is a profound, deep truth that cannot be escaped. Your ending wrap up shows a lot of wisdom gained at a young age, good for you!. I'm giving Etsy a shot at 70 years old. Putting past skills to use again can be fun financially, but , as you said, it's more boring than watching paint dry. Your friends will be even more bored than you once they understand how you spend your day.
Don't tell them! let it be our secret (It can be quite boring to listen/hear because it is so involved and taxing) though I'll listen; by the way I am 17 min into my 73rd Birthday. I find all this so time consuming and I must pay attention to my wife; but it can like the stock market in the long run prove both beneficial and the exercise those grey cells...far better than any coloring book..good luck on the trail. G
But it's the reward at the end that makes it all worth while. I am going to get started on this when I get back from vacation. Keep us posted on how your storefront is doing and any advice you think will help us.

I watched your video to check myself as I started a apparel brand a year ago. My journey hasn't been exactly the same (I started with a manufacturer and build an e-commerce website myself) but all your points are 100% true for your journey and similar ones. Keep up the great content Alek!
Thanks for #9! I needed to hear that. I already knew POD was not a “get rich quick” scheme, but your mindset of “upload 4,000 designs before getting worried” provided a quantifiable clarity to the process. 😊

Doesn't Etsy supply you with a tracking number or am I to het it from the carrier ? I run a print on demand store with printify integrated. Pls help me with this issue.
I do like what you said at the end. It's simple, not complicated, it just takes hard work. Most people don't want to work hard. But working hard is usually sets you apart from the rest.
I started an etsy shop using AI and some editing skills about a year ago. I had about 100 designs by the end of the year and sold over 450 items. It litterally started from watching a video on how to use printify/etsy ans use midjourney. Although I didn't become super rich from it, some of the tips you gave I wish I knew beforehand. I think I should have stuck with one item and I think I should have not experimented with two many genres of art. One thing I didn't know is you can open a multiple shops using the same EIN so it will still all fall under the same buisness. So this yeah I'm going to try to focus on one item and take some of the tips I saw from you other videos. Litterally been binging all your videos. They are all so helpful.
I like how print-on-demand is free of risk.. like it can’t possibly go wrong, right? Well, some countries *require* you to have an e-commerce/e-trader license beforehand! So if you’re flat out broke in an another country as a foreigner, when going into this side hustle you MUST ensure your success in under a year, no exceptions! (The license needs updating every year) So I’d say it can be quite risky depending on your situation and where you live, especially if you got no backup money.
Wow this is the second video I watched on this channel and I have to say this is absolutely spectacular quality, both in content and production. Thanks a lot man!

Hi Alek, I have watched all of your UA-cam vids. I have started an Etsy shop for mainly clip art but things are going pretty slow. I have sold 6 items in a month!! I have 118 items for sale. I notice that as soon as I sell something, viewings go up. Weird! It’s celebration time each time I do have a sale. Love your way of teaching, really inspiring.
I stuck around because someone mentioned how powerful your very last point was and woh. Glad i did. I dont know if this os a path ill be taking but your last point gives me gun ho to keep pushing forward in what ive been persuing.
Loved the video!💕 Just started my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They offer a huge variety of digital comics for every genre, and lifetime updates too!😍
All these “the market is saturated” comments are hilarious. That’s like a car dealer not opening up a new or used car dealership because the market is “saturated” 🙃. Where there is a need, there will always be customers. Your job is to be better than the others to get the sales. Everybody is just looking for the get rich quick schemes and not willing to actually put in the time and effort to be successful.
This video is GOLD !!! I'm kind of confused with Tip #2, repurposing. If you were to upload your designs as shirts, mugs, phone cases, stickers, etc, wouldn't they all be under your shop anyways ? Or is it easier to make a shop with just apparel, then with just mugs ? Good luck to all. Make that $$$

Alex, in 2023, would you recommend a digital store over a pod store? I have a POD store and Ive gone thru the learning curves over 2.5 yrs and am burnt out - and am trying to decide on sticking with pod - refocusing my store or going digital.

I am a big fan of yours just one question do you recommend starting a Single Product Store for Father's Day? If YES then Which Product Type should work best e.g. T-Shirt, Mug, Keychain, Phone Case, Notebook, Canva, Cutting Board or something else?
Binging your content! Was planning to just start with stickers…but now wondering which ONE product would be easiest and potentially most lucrative (& fun!) to start with…
Thanks Alek, for one more inspirational video. I am currently working on laveraging AI to up my speed and quality. And it is really easy to use AI, i must admit. In a bear market, the media highlights unfavorable events, such as a shrinking economy, geopolitical instability cultural and legal conflicts. or a mixture of these factors. Recently I came across a podcast featuring someone who successfully multiplied their initial investment from $20k to nearly $460k during this challenging market phase. Can you give advice on how to achieve such aggressive profits in such short periods?
@RizAhmed-xq7zeI have had no luck investing in cryptocurrency I actually invest on my own but my profits aren't always as I expect, sometimes I just keep leasing money
I am one month in, over 4000 views, no sales. I realized I had set the production time to 1-7 days in December. I just changed it. However, there are other issues I am trying to identify. We’ll see 😊
I truly appreciate your content and insight. Question - If we only focus on one design in the beginning, wont the customer not trust our product as much? In other words, should we have at least a few items to know what products work and don't work and to give customers to trust a store with no reviews? Thank you!
love the energy, and how it inspires, but there are way too many people using the same techniques, doing the same unimaginative processes, overloading sights like Etsy, basically killing and significant business anyone did have. The only ones making money, were the ones that were already there, or that hit the market first.
How do you make listings for the same product without making new products? ie Shirts with various designs. Sorry just getting started with this and really appreciate all the info and resources you provide 👍🏼
To be honest I just want to earn enough not to make a loss… i really like playing with midjourney and of course it would be awesome to make more money with it! But the main goal is to play even. Because at this moment I have the same fun at it as I had with gaming… just a hobby :)
you will only make a loss because you dont have enough hustle, i want to see 300 thousand ai generated listings on etsy you know its hard work, the process will work if you do! *THIS COMMENT SPONSORED BY ETSY*
Liquid gold, learnt a lot! Appreciate the effort. One request, can you do a video on how to find your niche/how you found your niche? Would be amazing to pick your brain!!
Appreciate the info, really good stuff. Following in your footsteps and have over 1000 designs across 27 niches ready to go. Just working with Printify API now to upload all the images and such to save my index finger from all the clicking.
@@danielsvids7325 Quick update: I created my own Python scripts back then to use Printify API and upload a lot of designs at once. But even with that I still had a lot of manual work to do. I ended up loading only about 350 designs to start and started making sales the 1st month. I started using Etsy Ads to get enough sales to try and get the star seller badge asap. Up till this point most months were in the red due to ads. But the holiday season I ended up selling quite a bit, at roughly 50% margin. I only did t-shirts, nothing else. I've since trimmed the listings down to 75 or so. Once I have more time I'm hoping to test out Alek's scripts to see if they are any better than what I created but this unfortunately has taken a back seat.

You WILL mess up and WILL end up in debt! We want to get out of debt with these stores that we are opening up so listen to me while you still can! Also good luck with your store!
Needed this.
Thanks Alek! You've been my favorite channel for this kind of content!
gosh there are so many of them now isnt there man with all those people making millions and making videos telling people the SECRET to their millions oh geeze this is real content and definitely not at all astroturfed bs
Try organic marketing
One of the best videos on the internet 🙏 Thank you for this!
“Watching videos like these when I could have spent growing my business” *closes video*
"Commented first." Lol
This video is GOLD !!! I'm kind of confused with Tip #2, repurposing. If you were to upload your designs as shirts, mugs, phone cases, stickers, etc, wouldn't they all be under your shop anyways ? Or is it easier to make a shop with just apparel, then with just mugs ? Good luck to all. Make that $$$
yes he meant it that way, have designs for tshirts till it sells and use same design on mugs but they seperate shops....might work😊
Thank you Alek! I am a noob on POD but your tips are mad inspirational and your vibe is positive bro. Thank you very much!! Let's go!!
this guy is hyped that the grifter is inspirational, your gonna need that when you watch your POD business fall into the ground like most others do
@@undeadducky7729 just out of curiosity, did you follow his advise to the letter, and still failed? I am tempted to give it a go based on this guy's channel, and a few others, and was genuinely wondering, if someone did follow the steps and suffered the grind, and yet still failed to make money. Please elaborate if you'd like.
I appreciate your delivery . Very concise and insightful. Please continue to deliver these jewels of instruction, advice and motivation .To your continued success!!
For sure one of the best videos on this topic!
The tip at the end was needed and valuble! Another great video 📹
Alex, in 2023, would you recommend a digital store over a pod store?
I have a POD store and Ive gone thru the learning curves over 2.5 yrs and am burnt out - and am trying to decide on sticking with pod - refocusing my store or going digital.
What is it about a POD store that burns you out, asking for my grandma.
how many listings did it take for you to make regular sales?
Gold nuggets throughout your video. "Learn the skills to pay the bills."
Love the mindset explanation! It will be a year of POD for me this August and I am excited to see what Q4 brings! Great info as usual, Alek! Thank you!
and how are you doing thus far?
Interested also, how has the year been.? What have you learnt and how well did it go for your?
Update?
Okay, Alek. I'm in for the long game. I mean WTH, why not? Liked and Subscribed! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and I celebrate your success bc that's how the universe works - in doing so, whatever's yours is mine. :) Also, good luck to everyone else on here!
you would be better off casting a spell to generate wealth than the 90 thousand postings you will need on etsy to get one sale
@@undeadducky7729 I hear you. Funny thing is I’ve started getting pretty creative w some ideas and having fun w it. I’m not looking to create “wealth” and have 0 expectations which is why I posted “why not?”. Just having fun being creative and if that resonates w anyone once I list, then no harm. But I do hear you on the wealth bit. It’s not a quick to bank kinda gig for sure but then again that’s what Alek is also trying to explain.
thank you, I'm launching my brand soon from a POD model, so I appreciate this guy
Number 8 Building an email list might need more explanation for Etsy sellers. I have build email list as a blogger….but how does someone selling mugs, build an email list?
good stuff! this is the first video of yours I have watched and I got a lot of good info out of it and I subscribed and will be watching more. Thank you for this :)
I am SO glad to have found you and your content!
Another amazing video Alek bro, very insightful ❤
Thanks for the video. I appreciate the insight. Just set up our accounts yesterday!
Thank you for the high quality content, for remaining humble and helping others to succeed.
I am a big fan of yours just one question do you recommend starting a Single Product Store for Father's Day? If YES then Which Product Type should work best e.g. T-Shirt, Mug, Keychain, Phone Case, Notebook, Canva, Cutting Board or something else?
Binging your content! Was planning to just start with stickers…but now wondering which ONE product would be easiest and potentially most lucrative (& fun!) to start with…
I somewhat understand what you're saying.
I'll keep at it.
Thanks Alek, for one more inspirational video. I am currently working on laveraging AI to up my speed and quality. And it is really easy to use AI, i must admit. There are AI Tools that can easily be learnt within 2 weeks of daily practice. Now all these option from this video added so much to my horizon, that i am really hyped up for the future!!
learn all the ai tools still wont help you sling trash ai generated content like you love to eat up from this ai generated human
Your`e the perfect teacher i never had. Thank you so much for these free classes.
Your videos and line of thought are really impressive, thank you for this! Maybe was already mentioned somewhere but what software do you use for competitor analysis? ❤
"The process will work if you do." 🎯
wow what a great take away, get to work wagie
How are people making money on tshirts on etsy selling them for around $10 when the wholesale price is often much higher?
In a bear market, the media highlights unfavorable events, such as a shrinking economy, geopolitical instability cultural and legal conflicts. or a mixture of these factors. Recently I came across a podcast featuring someone who successfully multiplied their initial investment from $20k to nearly $460k during this challenging market phase. Can you give advice on how to achieve such aggressive profits in such short periods?
@RizAhmed-xq7zePlease can I be your friend, if you don't mind sharing your experience with me?
@RizAhmed-xq7zeInteresting, please how can I get more info. I don't want to remain out of ignorance.
@RizAhmed-xq7zeAm interested in learning a new strategy.
@RizAhmed-xq7zeI have had no luck investing in cryptocurrency I actually invest on my own but my profits aren't always as I expect, sometimes I just keep leasing money
@RizAhmed-xq7zecan you please share the easiest way to reach to Mrs Patricia because my portfolio is going down down😢
Absolutely fantastic explanation and visualization about what’s happening! Thank you 🙏🏻
whats happening bot?
Hello, I am from Iraq. Can you teach me to win?
Just a question, how often should we upload designs?..and im from india ..can i still sell worldwide ?..or should i sell in india only ?
I am one month in, over 4000 views, no sales. I realized I had set the production time to 1-7 days in December. I just changed it. However, there are other issues I am trying to identify. We’ll see 😊
Should I create a business before starting or should I wait and see if I'm going to have some success?
I appreciate you for sharing this, excellent!
I truly appreciate your content and insight. Question - If we only focus on one design in the beginning, wont the customer not trust our product as much? In other words, should we have at least a few items to know what products work and don't work and to give customers to trust a store with no reviews? Thank you!
Great video, appreciate you sharing it!
These are amazing tips and insight that I’ve never heard anyone talk about 🙌🙌🙌
because its bad advice
Great video and yes no one wants to hear the last tip but its the most valuable!
love the energy, and how it inspires, but there are way too many people using the same techniques, doing the same unimaginative processes, overloading sights like Etsy, basically killing and significant business anyone did have. The only ones making money, were the ones that were already there, or that hit the market first.
How do you make listings for the same product without making new products? ie Shirts with various designs.
Sorry just getting started with this and really appreciate all the info and resources you provide 👍🏼
Great stuff, keep up the work Alek! 🚀🔥
he liked this ai comment too, ai status confirmed
To be honest I just want to earn enough not to make a loss… i really like playing with midjourney and of course it would be awesome to make more money with it! But the main goal is to play even. Because at this moment I have the same fun at it as I had with gaming… just a hobby :)
you will only make a loss because you dont have enough hustle, i want to see 300 thousand ai generated listings on etsy you know its hard work, the process will work if you do! *THIS COMMENT SPONSORED BY ETSY*
The process will work, if you do. That's the way it is with most things in life. Passive income takes work to accomplish.
Mate, ur super good at these videos! talent my friend
The process will work if you do! Well said.
Hows it going, made sales?
Any updates?
@@danielsvids7325 Quick update:
I created my own Python scripts back then to use Printify API and upload a lot of designs at once.
Once I have more time I'm hoping to test out Alek's scripts to see if they are any better than what I created but this unfortunately has taken a back seat.
appreciate for sharing this with us, excellent video
As a lifelong customer I can verify that option overload often ends with me not buying anything.
thanks for all the info. I don't know how long gelato print on demand platform has been around, but have you investigated it? if so, what do you think? I like the fact that it seems to be conscious of the environment and of vetting printers based on things like fair treatment of employees. what are your thoughts?
The ONLY way of making money from POD in 2023 is doing videos on POD and monetizing them.
Facts
this is the truest comment on the video glad you see through the facade
“The process will work if you do.” Gold.
I really appreciate your videos Alek. About to start my store in the coming week!!
in the coming weeks? clicking create account from your phone takes a lot of effort for you? guess you are gonna have some trouble once you see you need 20 thousand listings that cost .20 cents each and 99% of your shit wont sell
@@undeadducky7729 coming week as in singular... not plural.. and has nothing to do with the difficulty of opening and etsy account... seo research for the types of products to create and actually playing around in midjourney learning to create better art.
And I guess with that type of mindset why would you even try huh? Appreciate your guidance tho?
Thank you for sharing! I’m going to give this a shot.
This was an incredible video. Thanks for so much great info
the dude who complains about his Etsy account in the comment, I'm willing to buy that account from you for 300$... I'm beyond serious.
😂😂😂 swear! They aren’t ready for that awesome snowball effect. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure
Do it! Be about it!
Buy mine for 2,000
absolutely incredible info! thank you so much

Thank you for the insight!!! Print on demand is something I've always dreamed of doing. After a RIF at my previous employment, I'm taking this unexpected blessing as MY TIME to do what I want....and start my POD business! Your video is full of great info! I'll definitely be subscribing for more helpful tips. :)
How long did it take to hit $1M? Working on the momentum now lol
Great video, what platform would you recommend for example; Etsy or Shopify, if you start of with only 5 products. Thanks
Love your videos and I am going to do this! I do have a successful booth in a store but I would like to try online digitial/POD too now. Thank you for great videos!
