    Great video Alek! I opened my shop a few months ago and have about 20 sales. While I have a few hundred listings and feel like the systems I have in place are getting a lot better, these videos remind me that I still have so much left to learn and apply. All I know is that I need to keep getting better, and if it takes a few thousand listings to get there then that’s what I’ll do. Thanks again!

    You forgot about advertising fees which can cost ~ 15% of a sale - or Etsy's forced 15% ad fees [which is MANDATORY after $10K in revenue for the shop]. Great if they bring me a customer from their Google ads, but still a dollar sum to deduct.
    That being said, if one sits and hopes to be seen and get an Organic sale one day, yeah, then without ads.
    Which for the example in your video brings NET revenue down to $4 with the profit margin of 12.5%

    • @alekSheffy
      @alekSheffy  12 днів тому +1

    The Printlist uploader works really nicely, until I re-read the terms and conditions which state that by using the uploader the user grants you the right to use all of their designs on your own products royalty free. So yeah it's great for saving designers time creating listings, but it's really great for saving you time and money by having a giant database of designs to use for your own products with zero effort...

    If selling wall art. Posters. How do you figure out the sizes possible for each design? You have to allow for ratio aspect.
    Do you just design for a handful of sizes that work together?
    I’m at a stand still because of this.
    (I’ve researched lots of other sellers. Most have a huge long list of sizes. )

    Say you have a company that sells another product, not shirts/mugs and stuff like that. Would printify/print on demand still be valuable to use for selling clothing that is related to your brand? Like if you owned a bar and wanted to sell bar t shirts, something like that, but more of an online shop not a physical location.
