King Diamond, Motorhead and now Scorpions. All three are incredible in their own right. Mikkey is massive. I'm sure that he's played in other great bands as well.

I briefly met and spoke with Mikkey after a King Diamond show during their Them tour, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Very approachable, friendly and down to earth guy.
We spoke for about 10-15 seconds before a group of 4 or 5 female fans stated fawning all over him and he just shrugged his shoulders and looked at me like "Hey, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do!"
    I'll always remember that.

Mikey Dee is incredible - especially on the Abigale album and tour. That band was extremely tight and always right on the money. Always great hearing MD talk - a world class man for sure.

The Abigail album without Mikkey´s drumming would not have scored that big. It was so brilliant and original.

Mikkey Dee is a monster of a drummer. He had the stripes and more in 1986 if he wanted to join Motorhead. Luckily he didn't join and stayed with King and made awesome music!

Went and saw the Scorpions in 2017, I knew it wasn't Herman on drums by appearance, went to get a beer and came back at the beginning of what was the start of a drum solo, which I have seen the Scorpions many times and never recalled a drum solo. Being a fan of Alex Van Halen, Mastodon, Rush, Slayer, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Steve Smith etc..I was like ok Scorpions drummer is doing a drum solo, about a couple of minutes in, I'm thinking to myself who the hell is this guy, because I'm asking myself, "is this one of the best live drum solos I've seen?". I had to look up who the drummer was and saw that it was Mikkey Dee. Then I see that he had played in Motorhead, and I remembered them opening for Dio and Iron Maiden years ago, and I had a similar memory during Mikkey's drum solo in Motohead. Fantastic rock drummer, as solid and good as they come.

Absolute living legend and supremely nice guy. I met him in Vancouver c. 2004 when Motörhead played the commodore ballroom. I love his INCREDIBLE drumming in King Diamond and Motörhead.

I seen Motorhead at the Olympic Auditorium in LA. The floor there is REAL hard. Lemmy wanted to kick the whole acrowd's ass's because of the extreeme amount of fluid hockers that were presented to the performers. Ya needed an umbrella. The show was great but I don't remember much because you had to watch your back because of the ruckis. What a wonderful night.

Mikkey is a great drummer and a nice bloke, met him a couple of times during the years since we both lives i Gothenburg, Sweden, We also grew up in the same neigbourhood. He's older than me so we did not hang out . Saw him play when he was around 18, in a local band, . They actually put out a single in the early 80ies and did som touring.
Mikkey loves to talk about himself, but thats the meaning here I guess...

As A drummer my self I loved Mikkey Dees playing and King Diamond in the late 80s early 90s. About 2003 I saw him live in Karlstad Sweden with E-type, eurodisco you know... Met him in the bar afer the gig and I said to him "You were great in King Diamond". He just glanzed at me and responded; " I didn't think so".

I have watch a few King Diamond video's I almost pissed myself laughing so corny I think one was called "Witches funeral" I don't know how he or anybody else could take this music serious? he's trying way to hard to be this Satanist but he's just making a fool of himself.
