In this first video of my camper build series, I will walk you through the process for assembling the "tub" portion, or the bottom half of the camper which slides into my truck bed.

*DISCLAIMER: I am a complete beginner when it comes to wood working. After finding @ENDGAME's channel, I became obsessed with the idea of building my own, and set out to do so, knowing it wouldn't be easy, but still believing it possible. My goal with this series is to hopefully show others like me that building a truck camper is possible no matter where your resources lie.

Dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the new series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown xD
@Holden Rey yup, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself :)
The wings are such a good idea…thanks, looking forward to more …subscribed
Thank you! I have the whole build posted as a series on my channel
Great detail. Great video!
It's an expandable camping car that I made myself.
Come and see us, my friend.
Well done, eagerly looking foreword to next installments.
Can you include weight of materials please?
Thanks, Lawrence! Next installment should be posted in the next few days, just finishing up some edits. RE: the weight of materials, I am not completely sure; I estimate the final structure to be somewhere in the ~400lb range. This is based off the fact that @ENDGAME's build (my inspiration) was allegedly able to be lifted into his truck with only two people. Maybe I will be able to weigh my truck dry, and then with the camper on once it is all finished. Sorry I don't have more specifics!
Wide screen video... Awesome....
Good stuff
Awesome I’m trying to do the same thing with my new truck
Hell yeah, it's a fun process. Good luck!
I wonder if a camper can be made using aluminum tubing? Then aluminium skinning. Wouldnt it be lighter and stronger ? Bolts and nuts instead of screws and maybe easier to attach to a truck bed frame for strong support?
So because this video is so old, it probably won't make much difference to ask if you used some exterior coating for the bottom and sides that are inside the bed of the truck.
Sure did! Watch my "PART TWO" video to see what I used
