  • Starting our day with a big breakfast in Black Ivy Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland. For breakfast we got two scones with fresh cream and jelly, an skillet filled with grilled veggies (tomatoes, mushrooms, heirloom cheese, veggie sausage, scrambled egges, beans), orange juice and black tea (price- $26). Our room price was $204 per night; pretty expensive but it was at the heart of the city. After breakfast we checked out from the hotel and headed to London. We were planning to take to bus to the train station but we missed it, so we ended up taking an uber to the train station.
The tickets from Edinburgh to Kings Cross, london were $106 per person. The ride was about 4 hours with beautiful view of the countryside. Kings Cross is one of the famous and busy train station in London city. The Platform 9¾ from the movie Harry Porter and the Sorcerer's Stone was filmed in this train station. This has become on of the tourist attraction filled with people trying to take pictures.
After checking out the spot, we went to check into our hotel. We booked the hotel Saint again as we liked it the previous time, and this time we got the rooms for $100 per night. We went out to explore the city for a little bit. We took the train to the see the London eye, had a nice walk by the famous Thames river, also got to experience the beautiful view of the Big Ben clock.
Then we took the train to come back to our hotel and ordered some indian food for dinner for the night.
