It was not bad but it is not at the level of Batman as Keaton played it. The worst thing in the movie was really Tommy Lee Jones, it seemed that his interpretation was trying to be similar to Jack Nicholson as the Joker
It's an awesome Batman movie.I love Batman,Batman Returns,Batman Forever and Batman & Robin the best! Tim Burton & Joel Schumacher are THE BEST BATMAN MOVIES DIRECTORS OF ALL TIMES! :) And that's the Allmighty Truth,my friends.Michael Keaton is Batman. Val Kilmer and George Clooney are awesome too!
Something about this theme that fits perfectly with Val Kilmer being batman. Just like the 1989 theme fits perfect with Michael Keaton. Be my guess to argue but Keaton and Kilmer are the only two that did an amazing job playing batman.
I thought Clooney did an alright job as well. If it wasn't for the rushed production and various other issues, I believe he would have been better respected. Agreed that Keaton and Kilmer are the best, though. :D
I was about to say the same. I was born in 92 too, and Batman Forever was also my very first Batman movie I ever saw. Despite some stuff like the laugh of Two Face or the Bat-ass close up, I will always love this movie. The deleted scenes are also perfects.
You got point, (imitating Arnold Schwarzenegger: I'll be back hasta la vista baby) hehe My voice sounds original isn't, yeah I'll go for Arnold Schwarzenegger Mr, Freeze and Terminator Movie Series, and Kindergarten Cop, 90's Conan Movie Series 80's Escape Plan, and Sabotage Movie 2015.
I can literally break down every Batman movie from live action to animated and prove Batman Forever is the best one. Batman Forever is technically the best not only is it extreamly orgasmic to watch but eveyone who's a fan of cinema should enjoy this film even 20 years later.
I feel like this movies score is so underrated. All the crescendo’s in this are so eargasmic it’s hard to not like it. My gf even commented when we smoke And listen to this that it’s magical and very intense and I can’t agree more
This was my very first Batman movie I ever saw so its kind of nostalgic for me. I was born in 92 so the Burton films were before my time and I didn't see those until quite recently. I think Batman Forever is better and actually darker than people give it credit for.
I finally think this film is getting the cult following it deserves! I wish I could’ve met Joel before he passed so I could tell him how much I love this film, it’s my 3rd favorite behind Keatons films. I hope I can meet Kilmer someday to tell him he’s my 3rd favorite Batman next to Keaton and Conroy... controversial I know but that’s just my game I guess
This song and Danny Elfman's theme has been in my mind for all my life, since I was a 7 years old. Now I'm 33. Nolan could have got a crazy Batman theme for Batman Begins too. Let's hope we get another amazing theme un the cinema someday.
No, la que todos creen que fue un fracaso fue "Batman y Robin" aunque lo admito esa si fue mala, aunque esta es aceptable, pero nunca va a superar las de Tim Burton, igual está música es magnífica!
This was my favorite batman flick as a kid. I can see its flaws now and don't love it too much. But i love the score. I would love to see the directors cut, Joel's true vision. I hear it is darker.
This is the first Batman movie I ever saw... 23 years later, my work laptop wallpaper, mobile wallpaper and my idol is Batman... This is where it all started
I wish I could have seen it on the big screen. We didn't have 12A in the UK back then and 5 year old me wasn't allowed to see it - which is kind of dumb. Ah well. They had a re-release back in 2019 and I missed out on it - if they re-release it in theatres next year (or better still, they release the director's cut) I will definitely go and see it on the big screen. If I'm still alive of course - and hopefully if World War III doesn't happen.
I know Batman Forever can be completely ridiculous and cheesy, but at one time I was completely in LOVE with this movie. It had a massive effect on my life that I still haven't completely understood to this day. (I also ended up with a huge crush on Jim Carrey for a while) lol.
Boo Jim Carrey Stank he is Psychopath and Mental Retarded I hated him, And Crazy insane so, Insane and Sucks Jim the Retarded, Insane, Nuts,Phsycopath, and Moron.
One of the times when Batman is close to reality. Fighting against psychos villains. No god or goddess and other magical superheroes and monsters interference.
Nothing against this, it's really quite good, but I can never imagine it being played do Batman doing what he does. Whenever I heard this I always thought of a flamboyant marching army.
GrandJediMaster7860 Perhaps, in your own opinion of course, it sounds like Elfman but to me it isn't. Also, I never said the track itself sounds flamboyant, I just stated that I imagined a flamboyant army marching to it every time I heard it.
The opening two minutes has a great Batman feel. It sort of embraces the wackiness of its villains after that but the opening but is still one of the top 10 superhero themes I have ever heard.
Good comment! Really like Begins and is for me the definitive Batman origin story we have seen on the big screen. The Dark Knight is a better overall film of course but its not a better Batman movie as i really feel he gets lost in his own movies after begins.
Riddler and Two-Face will make a pretty lethal combination, I figured you could use a hand. Two against two are better odds. Bruce.... I can't promise I won't kill Harvey. A Man has to go his own way. A friend taught me that. Not just a friend.... *A PARTNER.* 🤝
Kind of like Tim Burton's Batman and also Batman: The Animated Series.... It's about "Dark Deco" - placing the world in a timeless place with old vehicles and juxtaposing them with new tech.
Batman Forever was MY introduction to Batman!
sayenshin same
sayenshin, me too bro

I love this movie
Remember my older brother taking me to see this as a kid and me not being able to stop being scared of 2 face 😂
Underrated in the Batman realm, honestly. Such a great flick and beautiful score. Expertly cast, in my opinion. Val was incredible.
Val was alright, the rest of the cast was meh, Jim was fun but he played himself. And the music is the only thing that I liked.
@@swedlepop7092 If only Schumacker wasn't the director. A different writer couldn't have hurt either.
Totally agree, I think a lot of people actually liked it but wouldn't say it, instead jumped on the hate bandwagon to look cool

Alfred: "Can I persuade you to take a sandwich with you sir?"
