Improve Your Front Foot Shots in Cricket (With One Simple Drill)

Front foot shots in cricket include shots like straight drive, cover drive, on drive and more. With this simple drill you can improve your front foot batting shots and score more runs in the matches.
Countless times I have seen batsmen attempt front foot drives in cricket only to hit the ball early and get caught out. This breaks my heart because the fix is so simple!
The benefits of playing front foot shots with a dominating top hand is incredible. For example, an opportunity for the cricketer to bat for longer durations, dominate the bowlers and achieve their target runs. Consequently, the cricketer should start to change their behavior to a more top hand approach to their front foot shots.
Last but not least, in the video above I go through some drills / challenges that can be used as part of the cricketers training sessions to develop the top hand dominance. This type of training is best started with young cricketers at an early age so that they absorb these good habits early! But a batsmen is never too old to improve!
