In the history of Dallas, this was JR’s most full of shit statement. How much Uncle Ray meant to J.R., and how excited he was about having Ray as his brother.
The very night he found out James was his son he was talking shit about Ray, how he is "a bastard in every sense of the word" and how he was Jock's "mistake". JR will say anything just to get things his way.
He lied to John Ross, he still treated his brother Ray like trash even in this season he called him a Half Breed and born on the wrong side of the blanket. JR didn't really like his brothers much he wanted Ewing Oil and Southfork all to himself.
He did love Bobby though. And the first part what he told John Ross about Ray was true he said he was afraid his daddy would love him more than him and said I resented your Uncle Ray
@@willisapril He loved Bobby but disliked Bobby being a Thorn in his side due to the fact Jock outright favored Bobby over him and Gary because Bobby resembled Jock as a young man and was the balance of their father's Business man side and Cowboy side. But JR disliked Ray because he felt he had another brother to compete with for their father's love and respect (and that Ray would claim his birthright piece of Ewing Oil). In the end he loved Bobby being the Abel to his Cain and even Ray to a point (Ray alongside Bobby had his back against Cliff Barnes and B.D Calhoun). But he HATED Gary because their mother babied him and made excuses for his weakness and being a drunk bringing shame to the Ewing Family.
@@willisapril J.R. telling John Ross that he and Ray became close again is false. He always referred to Ray as a "halfbreed". There was J.R. getting a down-and-out Ray to sign over his voting shares. Ray had also gotten violent with J.R. a couple of times other than the Garnett Macgee situation. They did have moments of peace and support for one another but they were never close since Ray caught J.R. with Garnett.

There is a Thompson Twins song - Lies, Lies, Lies!
The only thing JR is half good at.
That's almost like saying he loved Uncle Gary.
“That’ s just a game that Ray and I play”
🤣🤣🤣
JR Rules !!!
Quick thinking. I don't think John Ross is buying it either.
John Ross brought out the loving and caring side of JR. JR really loved John Ross.
Amen.
You certainly ain't whistling Dixie.
Each son or daughter loves very much his/her father/mother with all of his/her own heart.
Please do give me thumbs up if you enjoyed watching this clip of DALLAS with JR and John Ross Ewing III. ©®

JR and Ray were close before they knew they were brothers.
In the mini-series. They slept with those two women in Waco and came home in time for a good Hurricane. J.R. even let Ray drive his Benz
The first one to treat ray like a real brother!? I will have to call bull corn on that one.
He must think he is Bobby, what a liar!!!!

🤣🤣🤣
Before he was Marshall Teller on the cult hit Eerie, Indiana.
I think John Ross might've liked Cody Lambert just a bit more.
Exactly
Jokes me and Ray played lol
Jhon ross s half brother
Ha ha jr and ray real close😅
Lol jr and Ray best friends family lol 😆
JR truely loves John Ross a lot just like Jock loved him.

I agree JR did love John Ross!
That young son of JR's looks just like a young Neal Armstrong!
What happened to the pool? It looks so gloomy, not like the other pool. That one was bright and colorful. It seemed like it was much bigger as well.
That scene was filmed on a sound stage in Hollywood, not on location at SF.

He treated Gary worse out of both his brothers. Bobby and Ray

Say what u will abt
JR but he loved his family very much...
@@actuary33 well ray , garry and lucy were all blood family and might disagree .
Bullshit!!!!! Lol
I hated the introduction of James Beaumont.
John Ross is thinking, "I wish my brother was a better actor."
@@deb310red LOL! He was terrible but the whole character/storyline was contrived and stupid. Dallas had lost it by this point...
Agreed, James Beaumont was a bit unless, he maybe should have been introduced earlier maybe instead of the Jack Ewing Character
Jr and Ray were close at one time
