A sober Sue Ellen was a fierce warrior especially where John Ross was concerned...especially with JR in her cross hairs. Brilliantly performed by 2 of the best. Rest in peace Mr. Hagman and thank you for these wonderful performances...of a time when TV was MUST SEE.
dalilisamson…..Yes, they shouldn’t distress youngsters on a set like that…., And the poor child’s fear was real because he was too young to understand it was only acting…..Directors should not allow this to happen in television productions or movie productions….It’s irresponsible. Scorsese in some of his movies has directed scenes with adults shouting at each other with children in the scene looking terrified for real or even crying for real. This must be stopped. There is an Organization to protect animals on film productions like The American Humane Society, there should also be an Organization which protects young children from stress in directed scenes in movies and on television productions.
In 2:19 you can see fear in JR's eyes. That's something new. He realizes Sue Ellen is serious this time. Great acting from Linda Gray and Larry Hagman!
Let’s give it all up to the little baby who is playing John Ross. He knew the assignment and did it excellent. Look at his mannerisms. He played true to the role. He is adorable. The look on his face especially when Sue Ellen said I’m gonna get him and when Pam is talking to JR the look on the baby face, was a great performance. I feel so bad though because I’m hoping the baby had practiced this scene so much that he wasn’t really scared.
Yes, just about every cast me member has spoken glowingly of Larry Hagman. He must’ve been a fun guy to work with, despite every character hating JR at one time or another!
Drunk or sober, Sue Ellen would NEVER even THINK, let alone attempt to take John Ross from Southfork if Jock was still alive. Lucy is an example. He would want all his grandchildren taken care of, especially one that is his namesake.
You just knew JR was going to show up to spoil Sue Ellen’s plan. Even if she did get away with her son JR would have had every law enforcement agency in Texas looking for her.
It sets up the cliffhanger. The body in the swimming pool. There’s a photo of Cliff turning over the body and it’s Sue Ellen! Just to keep people guessing until the then season premiere
JR and Sue Ellen were at it again in one of the later seasons, in season 11, 1987-88, in a fight over John Ross that resulted in the cliffhanger finale that season when Sue Ellen shot JR after a fight with Nicolas Pearce.
Powerful scene! you just can't get anyone like JR.....he was an absolute legend 👍

Yes indeedy
Regarding his son , JR was always one step ahead and multiple times he made Sue Ellen fall on her face and humiliated her. Especially in Season 11.
‘Not with my son you’re not’. JR at his finest with the constable behind him, love the 🔥
An excellent scene. Hagman is marvelous as always. But Linda Gray plays the hell out of it.
Great Pam as always!❤
Poor baby, look at his eyes how he's afraid.
Ah, he got his money too.

Sue Ellen ended up being a formidable opponent to the diabolical JR!!! 🤠
God yes !!.
And end up putting him in his place.

The baby is terrified. Those are tears of fear, he is NOT acting you complete idiot.
Larry Hagman always loved Victoria Principal. He was so special with her.
You mean Linda Grey?🫢
@@stardustalways That too. In fact, Larry loved everybody. It was his show.
Yes, just about every cast me member has spoken glowingly of Larry Hagman. He must’ve been a fun guy to work with, despite every character hating JR at one time or another!
Pam might be right but it seems she is wrong as well JR being the Father has his rights as well...in keeping his son and raiseing him.
A Great Scene At The Season 4 Finale J R Throws Sue Ellen Off Southfork She Later Calls Pam To Bring John Ross To Her And Dusty
I can't figure out which one JR loved the most: John Ross or Ewing Oil?
J.R.: pure evil ! 😰🔥
Drunk or sober, Sue Ellen would NEVER even THINK, let alone attempt to take John Ross from Southfork if Jock was still alive. Lucy is an example. He would want all his grandchildren taken care of, especially one that is his namesake.
Ah, J. R. is laughable. "I'll destroy you".
LMAO.
“Another drunken slut who ran away “. Gotta love it
Une sene magnifique interprète par deux grand acteurs merci

JR should take John Ross away from his father Happy Father's Day ! 🎉
We need more fathers like JR. He's wrong but by god, he is passionate about fatherhood.
I was laughing.
I hate watching these clips without being able to watch the whole
Episode

Why she didn’t just take the child and leave when she had a chance
JR and Sue Ellen were at it again in one of the later seasons, in season 11, 1987-88, in a fight over John Ross that resulted in the cliffhanger finale that season when Sue Ellen shot JR after a fight with Nicolas Pearce.
John Ross was played by Tyler Banks... This scene was pretty intense for a child actor, but also one of the coolest scenes in the Dallas series... 🧐
Boy
The secretary looked better than Linda gray
Poor John Ross is going to need so much therapy. 😦
That poor baby.
Dirty business by far.
Too bad Bobbyyyy wasn't there to hear JR talk smack against Pamela. "She's just like your momma, a drunken lush!!!"
DALLAS JOHN ROSS HAVING
🤠🔥😋🔥🔥🔥♥️
Don’t mess with JR
Pam was awesome
