It isn't every day that I get the chance to work with my older daughter in the garden, and we are setting up a GreenStalk vertical planter, so she can grow her own vertical herb garden.
To me, being able to work in the garden with my family is one of the greatest gifts of gardening. Passing on a love for gardening to the next generation is so important, and I think you will be able to see and hear my joy at doing that in this video.
Together, we take the new basket weave GreenStalk (I should say the limited time Cherry Blossom Pink Greenstalk) and assemble and plant it with 7 different types of herbs. The leaf GreenStalk has seven tiers, and we are taking advantage of every one of the 42 pockets to hopefully grow some amazing herbs for my daughter.
This GreenStalk vertical garden is now hers, and we will update you all on its progress throughout the season.

It's wonderful that your daughter has the opportunity to take agriculture classes and she wants to start her own garden. Way to go! That GreenStalk is so pretty 😍
She is really inspired right now by those classes, and by the work she is doing with her Ag teacher. I think she was a little hesitant at first with the class, but I believe now that she is doing the work, she loves it! Thank you so much for watching!
I believe AG classes should be a part of every kid's education. I took every AG class offered in high school and where else does a kid learn parliamentary procedure otherwise now days? I think I can still say most of the creed and I've been out of high school for 31 years! I even learned to weld! :)
That is so funny! I was just saying the first paragraph of the creed to my daughter this morning!!! I learned more from those classes and competitions than I could possibly have imagined, and I use those skills on a regular basis. Thank you so much for watching!
I heard about greenstalks for the first time this spring, and when checking them out, I found your channel. I'm so glad I did, because I live in WI too. Watching all the people that have used greenstalks sold me. I have the 5th one on the way.

I wish they had ag classes where I teach, and frankly, I am surprised that they don't since we are in Wisconsin! But, the fact that they have them at her school makes it better. :)

I ordered one of these basket weave planters for one of my grown daughters and her husband last month. I'm anxious to see how it does for them. You are right about this being a wonderful way to encourage their gardening skills. Would have been great if they existed when my kids were young. :)

Cilantro doesn’t taste like soap for me but I don’t like it fresh. I prefer it dried.
