Explaining reasoning for plant placement was very helpful. Got mine during the sale but I'm just now setting mine up (zone 9b so I had to become confident we weren't going to have yet another heatwave.) I'm still trying to learn how to set the plant in place properly. I'm thinking we angle roots in towards center? I have the 10" deep so maybe just straight up and down. In our intense summers might need to change a bit. Need to check on where to place the 2 broccolis that survived the last heatwave. I do better with seed in place more than starting then transplanting usually.
When you take yours inside,how do you treat prior so that to not take the bugs that are in the soil inside the house too? I have one for inside and one for outside to avoid pests.🤔
I have 3 of them because all I have is a patio. They grow things beautifully and I even have limited sunlight. My peppers, tomatoes and even potatoes are doing great in the greenstalks. I love them. I got two on a bogo sale so I would suggest people wait for that amazing deal if they can. Edit: Just wanted to add that I don't really use the watering system because I feel that the bottom plants always receive less water than the top. So I try to water them individually, especially when I fertilize.

We have, on occasion noticed a little less water getting to the bottom tier, and so have done a little wait and then water more, it does seem to take a bit longer to make sure water doesn't just run out without taking the time to settle into the bottom area. Hello Michele, We have an indoor vivosun grow tent, and we use a mars hydro grow light, among others. That keeps the area nice and warm. I'll tell you my experience with Greenstalk. I ordered the 1st one as a leaf 5 tier. I got the base on wheels. Absolutely no issues with it. Then with your coupon I ordered the original 5 tier. No base and it's level, has fallen over 2 times now. Excuse excuse excuse and they will send me a refund when I send it back! Are you kidding me? All I asked for was another base. Not willing and from the son-in-law of owner. So I'm telling everyone to not trust Greenstalk to do the right thing!
