A king, who refused her some years before ( and decided for Madeleine de Valois, fille de roi Francois I) Une femme comme ça EST pleine de force
Marie of Guise is such an interesting character. I don't care for her daughter Mary Queen of Scots is annoying to me but I admire Marie of Guise she was a good Regent of Scotland. Love Queen Mary II and Queen Anne were awesome queens too.
How could Mary Queen of Scots be annoying to you? She was a baby that literally England wanted to kill, she was raised in French court alone, she had such a tragic life and yes she wasn’t perfect but how could she be no one was actually there to teach her how to be a better Queen for a country she did not know. I respect your opinion but put yourself in her shoes as a woman in that time and with everyone against you
