Of all the trails that Cindy and I love to run, the Rubicon is one of our favorites and one that we always try to hit at least once a year. You could say, it's a tradition of ours and one that we enjoy more for its breath taking scenery and the good times we always have with our good friends than anything. Sure, it's an iconic trail best known for it's epic wheeling but for us, that's always just been icing on the cake. Of course, this tradition is one that transcends all Jeep models and while the era of the JK has finally come to an end, there was no way that we were going to let it die there.
In this feature length, WAYALIFE Epic Trex Adventure video, you'll get to see us take on the Rubicon Trail for the very first time in JET Li, our brand new Jeep JL Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. As you'll see, we took him out running a Dynatrac 2" EndruoSport lift, 37x13.50 Cooper STT Pros mounted on KMC XD231 bead lock wheels and a set of LoD Signature Series rock sliders and front bumper for added protection. And, joining us for all the fun were our good friends Rachel and Ray in their cooperhead 4-door JK Rubicon running EVO bolt-on coilsovers and 37" Trail Grapplers, Ben in his white 2-door JK Rubicon running 35" STT Pros, Adam in his dozer 2-door JK Sport running 37" Trail Grapplers, Moochie in his silver 4-door JK Rubicon running bolt-on coil overs and 37" Toyo MT's and last but not least, Doug (aka Trail Bud) and his friend Bob in their white 4-door JK Rubicon running gen 1 EVO coilovers and massive 40x15.50 Toyo MT's. Some of the highlights you can expect to see is of us taking on the Little Sluice, Big Sluice and Cadillac Hill and you'll even get to see some trail repairs being made at Rubicon Springs.
At almost an hour in length, this video is one of our longer ones and you'll want to make sure that you set aside some time to watch it. We hope enjoy our presentation. - Авто та транспорт
Did the Rubicon trail this year for the first time with my daughter. I am 60 she is 24. It was an epic adventure that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My daughter drove the entire trail it was such a blast. Life is meant to be lived with good friends and family. You and Cindy do an awesome job with your videos, thanks for sharing.
Congrats to you on getting to run the Rubicon with your daughter. :)
Currently work at the JL plant in Toledo Ohio, always amazing and refreshing to see people putting these amazing machines, that we work so hard on, to use! Great video!

That's awesome and we're so glad to hear it. All we ever hope to do is bring our audience along for the ride :)
Man...great video. Been a jeep guy since I can remember, had 4 Wranglers before getting our 5th, which is my Eleanor JLUR. Insane stuff, bro...don't think I'll ever do that. 😯👍😎

Awesome video and only makes me want a JL more. At 6'7" I'll need to watch my head but still looks like a lot of fun.. Honey is just a bonus. I love the real life \ every man's Off Road adventures. Looking forward to the Trail damage follow up and your next upgrades. Thank You for your channel and vicarious bonding for us all
The owner of Dyntrac is 6'-10" and he's got a JL. It's tight but it can be done. Glad you enjoyed our video and the one you're looking forward to is coming :)
wow amazing trek!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
AWSOME what crew you guys have. I have not wheeled the Rubicon yet but its on the short list to get done the next couple years.
Definitely need to get out there :)
Great as always! Missed making the run with you guys but glad I get to see what I missed out on. Great to see Doug and Carl again too!
Bummer that you couldn't join us for this one but maybe next time.
Awesome awesome awesome!!!😍😍😍
Sweet video! I can’t wait to get out there with my boy and buddies.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Yo, that last shot of the Jeeps with that landscape is epic.
Thank you :)
This is a truly fantastic video! The views and wheeling are great, but I really learned about closely going over your rig and the camaraderie of everyone helping each other! I’m going to go over every main bolt and nut for the various sizes on my TJ and put them in my bag. I’m also going to prioritize what size wrenches I really need for my Jeep and leave the other ones back home. Thanks for the great lessons on your video!!!!!
Thank you, we really appreciate it and are so glad that you found our video to not only be entertaining but helpful as well.
That LJ...best looking Jeeps ever
What a great video, probably the best You tube video I have seen. Better than anything on TV today! Thanks
Thank you, we truly flattered you'd say as much :)
Courious how you liked the LOD sliders? Do think the new destroyer sliders from LOd would have done better?
Awesome video. Thanx for sharing!
So glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
Wow, Eddie and Cindy, this is another great video, man been a long time since the last rubicon video. Hope you all had fun this year, and the JL is shaping up. Still nice to see another great video come from your group. Awesome stuff.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video :)
Wow! Your JL sure took a beating but looks like it did exceptionally well! Good job and hope everything goes well with the body damage. Sweet footage!
LOL!! Body damage is already fixed and yes, the JL did great on the trail :)
wayalife mantap 👍
Just ordered a t-shirt from your store. 🙂 can’t wait to receive it.
Wow. what an adventure.
The Rubicon always is :)
Relaxing watching my very best channel with Eddie in charge! Me and my crew of Jeepers will be out and about trailing in the Superior Mountains of Arizona.....Desmav out!
Awesome, hope you have a great time :)
The most rewarding thing I did today was click on this video! So cool seeing great friends have such a great time on the Con! So bummed we missed this adventure.
So bummed you and Steph couldn't join us for this run. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Ray (the guy with the orange rubicon) lives on my street and told me to check this out! I've always loved jeeps and your channel makes me want one even more! Because it's not just a jeep...its a wayalife! :) Great video!
LOL!! Awesome :)

Great stuff fun to watch. Good editing too
Thank you, we really do appreciate it :)
Great video, I'm running the Rubicon in July. 🇺🇸👌👍
Awesome, I hope you have a great time :)
Amazing video! Well shot! I want to buy a used Jeep! I just to make sure it hasn't been put through what you guys just did! 🤣
Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Talking about low. I did it with 2" lift and 33" tyres 😉. Just pick the right lines and you make it. Just damaged the steering stabilizer like you did and some dents on the skidplates
Awsome!!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
It has been awhile since I have seen American Honey. Nice job guys!
LOL!! It's been a while since we've made a group run video like this. Glad you liked it :)
Nicely done. Been up there 3 times already this year and may try to fit in another day trip if I can make the time. That squeeze rock that dinged your body is much tougher this year than in the last few. We got a Rover caught on it pretty good this summer and did more bodywork than you by a good bit! Had to winch him forward through it and put the hurt on the rear quarter. Then again, pretty much every Disco that crawls is wrinkled below the passenger taillight.
Man I be missing me some friends and the Rubicon! Great video guys!
Long time no see Billy. Hope we can get you out there with us again someday.
great video and really inspiring me to get a jeep now
Awesome, so glad to hear it!
Another amazing trip and video. Really testing the limits on the JL, which looks like it’s kicking ass!! (Rocky07 on Wayalife)
Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it and yes, the JL rocked :)
Love you vids guys! Kicking it over here in NZ and got the Jeep bug myself. Would love to make it over to run the rubicon one year, we have nothing like it here.
You guys are rocking it! Literally! Always makes my heart sink when body damage and mechanical issues happen! You handled it with poise and took it in stride! It was also nice to see how everyone chipped in and how to see it through! You show me how to take it to the limit and what a Jeep can handle! Amazing to watch rig after rig roll through!
So glad you enjoyed watching our video :)
Wayalife I grew up in Wyoming and we would round up our horses from winter pasture and I would ride with my cousin in his CJ5! It would literally roll up over the snow drifts and the other 4x4s would get stuck or have to drive around! I always caught my horse first! I loved that Jeep and Vietnam claimed my cousin and I don’t know who ended up with that JEEP! I got my dads old 1070 Gladiator and drove it till the axle broke and we parted it out! I always regretted it! Over the years I had family and a Laredo and grand Cherokee wagoners! Always missing the CJ and my Gladiator! After my daughter died I heard talk of jeep bringing it back and I told my wife if they ever do I WILL BUY IT! We got the first one we saw lol I never did the rock crawling thing but mud snow and mountain trails ( come to think of yes I have crawled over rocks but nothing like you!) I was born to it! I am back now and adopting 2 young children.... a longer story then this lol but the 4 door truck was a answered prayer! I am sorry this got so long... I am watching all your videos and got a plan laid out and I thank you! You are a very intricate part of the plan and things I hadn’t thought of!
Just found you guys from your Pacific NW videos. We just did the 311 trail by Mount Rainier Saturday. Been binge watching all your videos today! Really enjoying all of them. Love your new JL. That fan though!!
LOL!! Yeah, the fan is crazy loud but I'd rather have that than an overheated engine.
What a good time ...and ALL this video Did was make me wish I was there ERRR LOL
LOL!! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Love your videos bro
Thank you 😎
Good times for sure.
Always a good time on the Rubicon :)
Hi Eddie and Cindy, Thanks for sharing your adventure, good friends and the fun trip! You are blessed. Loved how you left the "bad" parts in too. We can't do that in South Florida so it's great to see you enjoying that part of the country. Will you be at Overland Expo East?
LOL!! Glad you enjoyed the good and the "bad" of the video. Sorry, don't have time to make it out to Overland Expo
Great content as always.
Thank you :)
Another great video!!
Thank you :)
Around 1:40 is that a J10 in the garage???
Great Video 👍
Thank you :)
Awesome video. I hope to one day make it to the Rubicon and experience 48:48! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it and I do hope you are able to make it out there someday. :)
Tessa dog! Look at the smile on her face from 12:00 in. Love it
She's our sweetie :)
@@wayalife Great choice in tunes on this one too! Great video, really enjoyed it. Shame about the damage near the end :(
Great video as usual 🇺🇸
Thank you :)
Wayalife how much rubbing are you getting with that lift/tire combo at full flex? The tires look like they stuff in there pretty good.
